There’s a rumor floating around that the Capcom announcement is a plug and play arcade stick preloaded with games.
Man, I’m just reading about Sega’s equivalent to Mario Maker but for Sonic…
The kicker. It was only online for PC and now there’s nothing about it anymore. It debuted in 2009. Oh Sega…
I’m hoping for good things on the Capcom announcement. Depending on how the emulation is handled, the game selection, and the arcade stick quality…I’d be down.
Official AvP, ProGear and more Darkstalkers is always cool.
hahahaha OH WHAT A SURPRISE that “That Company” somehow managed to fuck that up with a Sonic Maker type of thing. How very, very surprising.
yeah, for the rest of my life I will truly enjoy laughing at them and taking the occasional cheap shots.
I would love to see Capcom put the SF 30th Collection onto something you can plug and play. Also, if they add arcade-perfect versions of Darkstalkers/Vampire Savior … I’ll be throwing my money at the screen.
Time flies. Feels like it wasn’t too long ago I was bemoaning MK11 not being at E3/Evo, and now it comes out next week. Can’t wait.
As long as they make it better than the Neo geo Mini.
That shouldn’t be hard.
It is not a high bar, but its a Starting point. The Neo Geo Mini has a blurry screen, awful controls and a baffling layout.
Emulation boxes to take note of and see what they did right.
NES Classic and the SNES Classic
Emulation Boxes with design flaws to avoid
PS1 Classic, the AtGames Genesis Mini
NG Mini’s screen was a gimmick at best. Better just plugging the thing into a TV.
@chadouken if you ever get tired or bored of being an archeologist. You can live your job vicariously through a video game about archeology.
Incept yourself, homie.
Lol, that looks cool, but when I get home from work I just want to shoot the fuck out of shit, play soccer with rocket powered cars, or stomp out some fuckin goombas
SNK’s apparently working on a new Neo Geo console as a semi-open platform.
Also, a new console Metal Slug is coming.
No more heroes collab with dragon’s dogma on switch
Switch update 8.0 available
The save file transfer update for the Switch system software points to new Switch models being released.
None of the reviews talk about spending a bunch of hours doing research, being hot as balls sweating all day, walking around looking for random shit, or scribbling indecipherable notes at the end of the day.
2/10 not much archeology going on.
If Capcom does announce a preloaded stick I’m interested. I spent saturday night getting my ass handed to me in an arcade cause I’m a pad player and my execution on stick is trash, plus all my friends that don’t play SF are more willing to play on a stick cause they’ve only played in the arcade. I’d assume that it would have 2 sticks on it. If it’s $200 or less with good components, I’d seriously consider it.
Since Discourse won’t let me post identical posts I’ll just link it.
