Yeah. I’ve usually never had an issue with ordering from them. I order from them all the time. I’ve just never preordered with them and didn’t bother reading the fine print cause I got caught up in the excitement of getting the amiibo preordered and out of the way so early.
And since I’m an impatient fuck and they’re the only ones who still have all three in stock I just had to go to GameStop’s website and buy them.
I copped a 256 GB micro SD card for $30 off Amazon. My 60 BG card is down to 22 gigs sooooooooo, yeah, figured it was time to upgrade and what better time to do it with Amazon offering discounts. With the rate I’m downloading games, I’m gonna need that extra space.
I forgot this game was on my wish list.
I went ahead and pre-purchsed it along with Cuphead and Katana ZERO, which all drop on Thursday and I happen to have that day off work. The 18th is gonna be lit!
yeah this weekend will be the SHIT, man… I’m also prepared for that double-whammy combo of Katana Zero and Cuphead. I keep telling my old buddy from college about the Switch greatness but he’s sadly been too cheap to get one… after Katana and Cuphead on Thursday, just a few days later it’s Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen (*he was a big fan of that so I know the temptation is strong now, ha) Hell is Other Demons looks like something I’d probably be into as well.
I’m also regretting getting a smaller card now… already down to about 17 GB now, and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice is a bit more than that AND it has no physical version from what I see, sadly. I think Switch fans have been lucky that most of the digital-only titles have been relatively small files.
ah, they’ve posted a review of Hellblade on Switch here:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order gets a release date. Kick ass box art too.
Also glad to see a deeper roster. Seeing Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen and Nightcrawler there is awesome. I still wish it was a more diverse roster like XML and MUA’s of the past. That said, I get why they chose the roster they did. Gotta go with the money makers. Cause, well, Disney wants that money.
However a lot of characters shown from trailers are missing from the box art like Havok and Lockjaw. So the roster may in fact be deeper and more diverse than they’re letting on. Which is what I’m hoping
I totally forgot Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster hit the Switch today. I still haven’t picked up FFVII and IX on the Switch yet. Too busy buying other games. I’ll probably buy the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy first since the only game I’ve played and beaten in that trilogy is the first game and I haven’t played it since 2005-2006 ish.
The Arcade Archives lineup continues to grow on the Switch. Baseball Stars 2, Donkey Kong 3, Double Dragon II, Elevator Action, etc. I’d love for Hyper Duel to come to this Switch. Never got to play it, but the game looks awesome.
Also, as I mentioned, Best Buy WILL charge you initially but it’s just a surcharge. They will release the funds within a week and then about 24-48 hours before release date they will do a finalized charge
I was going to GameStop to pick uo Yoshi’s Crafted World and maybe an amiibo if any were left. They had an Easter sale going on and I ended up walking out with this.
I got the last Daisy amiibo they had, which out of the latest release wave, was the one I really wanted. I didn’t think Mario + Rabbids would ever drop to $24.99 so I had to cop that. As for Diablo III: Eternal Collection, well, that sucker was $39.99. I’ve never played a single Diablo title so I guess I’m gonna learn. Eventually. For now, that sucker is staying sealed.
sheeeeit, if you like ARPGs, D3 might have you hooked for at least a few hundred hours. I prefer this version now since it’s naturally portable, of course. (*and doesn’t require an internet connection like the silly ass PC version)
I should get in some more time on my seasonal Necromancer before the season ends; it’s ending sooner than I expected it to.
Hey, say what you will about GS but there are some good prices on that Easter sale they got going on. I could have gotten a Power A wireless GameCube controller for $40 rather than the $50 it goes for but since I was already buying 3 Switch games, I decided to pass.
Never played Boxboy but I’ll pick up Boxboy+Boxgirl because I could use a good puzzle game and this one looks really good.
I’m a few levels into Yoshi’s Crafted World and I’m loving it. All those unlockable costumes will keep me busy. It also pays to be on the lookout for stuff to throw eggs at in the background. The game just oozes cuteness from Shy Guys staring off in the background to some wearing bandannas on pirate themed levels, so much of this game makes me goo Daaaaaaaww.
and it’s perfect timing with a 3-day weekend for me…I’m regretting not asking for Monday off so it could be a 4-day weekend. Ha, 2 cool games I want in 1 day…THEN there’s Dragon’s Dogma next week…this system’s lineup has been the shit from day 1, folks.
Some people are of the opinion that you need some time after something before thinking of it as “legendary” status…sheeeeeit, that’s not me; I recognize greatness while it’s still going on, man. Switch has already earned that “Legendary” spot for me.
