New Leisure Suit Larry game Trailer.
I don’t mind the art style. It’s actually pretty charming. I just hate the idea of another Leisure Suit Larry game after the last few were so. fucking. awful.
They will never make a Leisure Suit Lary like they did in the 80s. Those originals make the new ones tame.
The originals weren’t even that graphic in content. They were adult themed in humor and setting but they weren’t even that vulgar or pornagraphic in nature, really . They were hugely slapstick and just fucking silly.
One of Al Lowe’s main points of contention was showing that adult themed games do t have to be actually adult themed or super serious or super violent. They can still be silly and fun.
@Stuart_Hayden If you want a straight beat 'em up on the Switch there is 99Vidas. There’s a demo of it and I liked what I played. Its still on my Wish List of many Switch games I need to pick up.
Switch version of MK11 looks pretty good. Hell I may double dip if it looks solid and they release a decent length trailer before launch.
Someone data mined Mortal Kombat 11.
File size is around 6.5gb. But there is a day one patch download that is almost 16gb and already 11 dlc items that will launch day one.
Here is a twitter thread breaking it down.
Lol more like buy our day 1 patch and get a free game to download lol.
I’m sure there will be the usually ugly “internet network required for full game download” or whatever the fuck is says that Nintendo has done for LA Noire, Wolfenstein and a few other.
If not a lot of people who buy it for switch are gunna be pissed
Hellblade Switch vs PS4 comparison.
Switch ‘N’ Shoot came out on Wednesday.
I pre-purchased and have finally gotten around to playing it. The game is a lot of fun but may take some getting used to the single button controls. I love the arcade cabinet-like art work displayed when not playing in TATE mode. Speaking ot TATE mode, I love that this game lets you switch to TATE mode at the touch of the + or - buttons.
Super Weekend Mode comes to the Switch on Friday.
Game looks cute and anime. I think I’ll pick this up.
The music is fucking awesome. The gameplay looks confusing as shit though. I have no idea what’s going on. It kind of looks like a mix between the old tiger electronics handhelds and space invaders? I have no earthly idea.
An eShop game I’m looking forward to is Boxboy and Boxgirl. I have the other gAmes in the series on 3DS. Boxboy is just a good little puzzle platformer and it’s something you can play in small bursts.
Apparently god eater 3 is coming to the switch.
Wow. I didn’t realize how many switch games I have until I finally unpacked my bag from the hospital. (Yeah I know. I’ve just been busy and lazy in general. Plus I haven’t had an urge to play my switch.) I have almost as PS4 games. Physically of course. Digitally i have more on PS4. By a large margin thanks to PS+. I have literal 100’s of digital games thanks to PS+. Like…95% of them I’ve never played though. Let alone even downloaded onto my console. Lol.

A few I regret buying but most I don’t. I think the one game I was super excited about that I absolutely ended up hating was Fire Emblem Warriors. It was such too far of a step back to me, personally from Hyrule Warriors. There really wasn’t a single thing I like about it.
I didn’t like breath of the Wild at all either. So I guess I kinda regret that one too. I got way too caught up in the hype of it.
Oh and I definitely regret Smash ultimate.
That’s about it though.
But I hate the idea of trading in games or selling used games. Plus none of my friends I regularly talk to don’t own a switch so I had no one to give away to. So I just kept it as a reminder.
holy shit God Eater 3?!?! Instant-buy for me.
Yeah, fortunately I dodged a bullet with Fire Emblem Warriors. At first I was looking forward to it…then the more footage I saw, and the more I found out about it…I started losing interest FAST.
I’m up to 35 games at this point… a big mixture of digital and physical stuff…I think everything I have that is digital is only because there simply was no physical version…except Hollow Knight, because I didn’t feel like waiting around on that one.
this damn forum design is such a piece of flaming trash man whatever…fuck it no “fancy” linebreak then, fuck it goddamn…bootleg ass garbage… anyway:
Ok, Dead Cells on “Very Hard” IS one of the hardest games I’ve ever played, man… seriously. I’ve been at it for weeks now; I’ve only made it as far as the Clocktower a few times…yeah, it’s THAT rough on the Very Hard difficulty…almost a different game. There’s been a few occasions where I died on the first stage. The bizarre thing is that it rarely feels unfair though…there have been those few rare occasions where it did indeed seem like the game was bullshitting me though.
Elite enemies— on Very Hard mode, just don’t even try it. Some of them are borderline IMPOSSIBLE for real, man. I’ve seen some that have magic crystal orb things that generate an INVINCIBLE forcefield on them…so you’d have to destroy the crystals to even begin damaging that bitch…well too bad you’re also having to dodge the tons of crazy attacks he can do AND the other regular enemies in the area AND the smaller enemies he also spawns around him…AND even if you destroy the crystals he just quickly respawns the shit like “haha too late–I’m INVINCIBLE AGAIN, LOL.” …and with some weapon/gear setups you’re at such a severe disadvantage against things like this it might actually be a completely unbeatable enemy for real, and you’d have to run past and HOPE he doesn’t follow you for the rest of the level (usually the elites will follow you for a bit.)
At this point I might knock it back down to just “Hard” difficulty so I can actually experience what it’s like to have a good run in the game again and getting far or even beating the whole damn thing. If they keep track of such stats it is probably something crazy like only 1 or 2% of people that play this game have even come close to beating Very Hard difficulty as it is right now.
Did you guys end up picking up Valkyria Chronicles 4? The collectors edition and vanilla edition are on deep discount at Best Buy

I haven’t gotten the game yet. I been looking to get the game on PC but that price is hard to pass up.
Already got the PS4 version and it’s in my backlog but damned if that isn’t tempting.
