Picked that GMMK up to replace my Apex TKL. It took about 45 minutes to put together with the switches and everything. Went with Kalih Browns over Gaterons.

Also picked up a couple of games off the Summer Sale, picked up Project Cars 2 Deluxe Edition and Assetto Corsa Comp and still have $15 left over.

Good lord thats fugly. Are you able to turn of the lights when you feel like it on keyboards like that?

Yeah, there’s three profiles built into the keyboard. One’s for that mode, the second I have just as a single color (using white for it), and then the third option is no lights at all.

PC port…woooo!

Wassup guys, long time lurker in this thread, but think I finally have something worthwhile to share.

Have been keeping an eye on prices in the second hand market, and with new Ryzen being so fast and so cheap, last gen stuff has finally dipped into “affordability”.

Hit up the 'ol eBays and picked up a 9900K chip and a Z390 Designare board for $475.

Rolling the dice by going used, but thankfully when I assembled all the parts yesterday, everything looks to be in working order.

Upgraded my HTPC\Steam Game Server from this:

To this:

Kept my existing case, but other than that, total spend came to $1090  , think its a lot of machine for the money.

[spoiler]

Will continue to run it for a few weeks still as my HTPC\Steam Game Server, but after I feel good enough that all the parts are running stable together; Plan to consolidate more of my gear, retire my current gaming PC (7600K, RTX 2080 Super, 32GB DDR4 2400), pop that GPU into this rig, and try this setup: Linus Tech Tips - Use your Gaming PC’s Extra Power as a NAS Ultimate Guide

yeah, I’m probably buying the game off Steam in the next couple of days. Between it, Destiny 2 Beyond Light, and a couple of other games; I’m set until Cyberpunk shows up.

AMD offering free Asassin’s Creed Valhalla when purchasing a qualifying CPU. Rip me, I bought my 3700X 2 weeks ago. Contacted support and they said it’s not possible for me.

What do they mean by unlimited play?

It means that with ultimate pass you get the xCloud service with it.

Free Warhammer 40K game…

Hey guys, i build my own pc, i use Ryzen 2700X and Nvidia gtx 1080 but after months of usage it started getting slow and laggy for games. it happened actually when i used to installed many kind of untrusted programs and cracked games, my pc started getting hot and laggy, CPU usage was 100% without even opening any programs or activities. i tried to install antivirus but it was slowing my pc more, a friend told me to enter safe mode without network and install AVG TuneUp best computer optimizer but after hours of scanning nothing changed. It’s a hardware problem cause i really paid so much on it.

As in the same games that were running well are now running worse? See how much crap is running in the background.

I would run Malware Bytes and possibly check to see if you have unwanted programs starting up with it.
