The white life nerf, shouldn’t be a problem. Because the goal of the V-Skill, is to armour on for an immediate pay out. “Cash on Delivery” Hence still requiring a read against specific attacks. Not like maxing out the credit card on a shopping spree and racking up huge debt.
If stand LK xx Lariat is the new stand LK xx EXGH, added with 4 frames of input lag, then welcome back Snake Eyez.

You guys are crazy if you aren’t excited for these new buffs. Gief is going to be whiff punish city with st.lk xx lariat. I just don’t understand the doom and gloom behind grey life nerf. V skill is for a strategic parry. You’re trading their heavy for your SPD, or their hit for your flex/V trigger activation. It isn’t for flexing every poke for no return beyond building V trigger. Once you flex that hit, that life is as good as gone but at least you traded it for an advantageous situation.
Gief is going to be sweet sweet mid tier goodness. Work on your st.lk xx lariat whiff punishes boys!
