Combo ex spd or invincible ex spd would be awesome. Really would, but it is not likely. What Iām hoping for is being able to combo something like 2x cr.jabs to lariat. All of the other grapplers can combo their lights to a special. Mika has peach, Alex has chop, and Laura has elbow. Lariat can only damn near point blank. I think this is the single biggest factor holding him back, as our whole game would be different if we could convert a lariat from our godly cr.jab.
Buff Giefās frames a bit. Quicken his dash and forward jump. Fix air ex spd so it doesnāt get stuffed by air normals.
You need Headbutt hit confirms to combo into a medium attack. And giving Zangief a one-off option to gain a huge benefit off of whiff punishes once youāve worked to earn your three bars of v-gauge isnāt really broken either. If the v-trigger is 3 bars, then it needs to be pretty game changing or else itās just a lot of build-up for a relatively weak option.
At this point, giving him a mp/mk link into v-trigger is hardly game breaking. Currently, thereās no way to actually use it during neutral unless the opponent has a fireball, everything else is a guess into level 2 to make it āsafeā. Itās actually strange that you need to have v-trigger active before gaining the neutral game benefits, such as making whiff punishes a major threat. I feel like this is just a side effect of nerfing Zangief during the beta phase and pushing him out with the rest of the rushed content, instead of gaining more feedback and pushing out a more complete product.
Now, jab combos into ex spd would be broken as fuck. Not even nerfing the damage/stun of ex spd would be enough to balance that, sf4 green hand Zangief all over again.
So who can tell me here how have I air spd Ryus shoryuken before he takes of the ground and I also air spd guiles flash kick before it takes of the ground. I could pull it of on guile 99% of the time on neutral jump not on a jump in though. I have no idea on timing or conditions. Any one have this info??? Also cammys srk.
Hitbox hurtbox manipulation. Your air spd outranges their attack - horizontally. You can hurt them, but they canāt touch you. Only happens side on. If they are directly below you, you die. No attack boxes below for the boscht dynamute.
Iām having a hard time dealing with the dhalsim matchup in general. When I get in (after taking some hefty damage) I canāt really seem to deal with teleport. MP maybe? Really slippery players are pretty much impossible to catch. Any advice?
If you can read him teleporting backwards from you, do a heavy RBG. It grabs him during his recovery (which is very long). That matchup sucks, but made easier by trying to counter poke limbs (st.hk beats st.mp, sweep beats st.mk). I try to move forward against him with f.mk as it will sometimes beat or trade his limb. When blocking his limb nonsense, throw in a flex to minimize pushback.
what about Instant air teleport? They usually hit a button before they land and pretty much beats a lot of the options, especially rbg. Most of the videos I see regarding this all have him doing regular ground teleport, which pretty much no one does
