I dont believe you guys because everyone keeps telling me Zangief can be really good. He has all the tools, im just not using him right. Its still early on.
I like what Fuudo did with Mika. The strong ground game and footsies I think we could do. Our headbutt pressure and 50/50 oki mixup is underrated. The issue is that we have no consistent combo to go to. Mika has jab jab peach, Laura has elbow stuff. We have very questionable lariat combos that are wildly inconsistent. Our damage is based more on guesses than any other character. You can only win the 50/50 so many times.
I know itâs hard to compare different games but look at all the characters that came from SF4. All are super strong and all got even more tools in 5. Gief loses greenhand, loses combos, they make lariat ass, and spd got worse. Wtf is going on here?
There were no Zâs in top 50 of stunfest. Our footsie o/s game is poor. Even if CA were D, F, D, F - range would limit itâs use. Every other character has dangerous CA buffers on footsies. We need medium poke o/s VT NOW!
I look at a character like Ken and it just makes me sad. We have to work so hard and they can just play like an idiot and have no skill and win. Just spam ex tatsu to get in, land two combos and win. Oh and if it trades you can still juggle with dp for monster damage. Yup, thatâs fair.
Actually, Ken is a high skill character, i dont count him into braindead pool; the most stupid design should give to the one who make ryu and chunli, they re so fuking overpower and make this game broken.

Not tried in real battle, will try again when I meet a mika next time
Gief is OP
Nerf prediction on next balance change:
1.) Increase the hurtbox/Reduce the hit box of c.lp
2.) Reduce the range & damage & Stun of EXSPD
3.) Reduce/Remove the stun of regular SPD
4.) Reduce the stun/active frame duration of headbutt, brainless meatly headbutt is OP
5.) Damage reduction on CA
6.) Slower dash/jumping speed, dash SPD is still works on some dreaming opponents, forward dash need to be nerfed into SFIV speed.
7.) Lariat can anti cross up is op, should be nerfed into SF2 nature (can not used as anti air), while remaining the same moving speed & recovery speed.
8.) Hitbox reduction on S.HP/Charged S.HP, S.HP has almost half screen hitbox is OP. Remove the blocking nature of S.HP.
9.) (Please add any others if you think what he should be nerfed more)
Hey, certainly not true ! I was competing at stunfest, and was actually surprised that there were a lot more Gief players that I would have imagined. Even got to play a lot of mirrors in freeplay. I felt warm inside to see that our Russian was not being abandoned despite being bad.
That said, all those I talked with were out by round 3.
Myself, I went 0-2. Ok, I am bad, but still, last year I went 2-2.
I felt really helpless against a not so fantastic Chun, it was sad.
You guys just need to adapt. Adapt to using the shittiest character thatâs ever existed in a capcom game. As for me? I havenât played in a month, I miss street fighter, but other games are keeping me happy at the moment and its not worth the frustration. Maybe I should send combofiend a âthank youâ letter for allowing me to do other things with my life.
Yes, you can do another LV1 VT again to get another meatly if they donât quick raise.
However you wasted too much VT bar by throwing out two LV1 VT
After you get the meatly on the second LV1 VT,
Your VT bar are not enough to do LV3 VT anymore.
