If that’s all it is you might be able to set it up off a Finishing Shower DHC and not even need an AV DHC. I know doing something like S, MH xx Phantom Dance DHC Finishing Shower in the corner will put you in position to ground dash j.S for the hard knockdown. It might be too low to the ground, not sure. If it does work Burst Time to Finishing Shower should have pretty much the same result.
Damn, if it works off that DHC it may be pretty awesome for a lot of characters!
Next confirmed character it works on is Spencer, I really should start trying it on small characters, just trying hard enough to get it on regulars yet.
EDIT: Also works on Phoenix, having troubles getting it to work properly on MODOK, he has a really weird hitbox in the air, especially after the shadowblade hit. I’m not sure the S can be linked in the right way, but it may be possible with some different timing against him.
Testing on Raccoon and I can’t get it to work. If it’s possible on him the timing is way different.
Hard but possible on Arthur, piss easy on Sentinel, as if that match up needed to be any more in Morrigan’s favor. >.>
It works on Wolverine and Firebrand, so I think that means it should work on the important cast sans MODOK and Raccoon. Maybe Joe, need to test on his enormous noggin soon.
I thought we had an infinite:

Chrisis’ isn’t a TAC infinite though.
Oh, I just assumed it was. If I’m reading the post right, it’s just a combo that lasts the entirety of Astral Vision then, yes?
Hmm, I’d like to see a video of this if anyone is capable.
You can set up a low height air S with Doom missiles, since I guess some people think that’s a good assist for morrigan. just do like H+A1(hidden missiles)S, jMMHS, then right as the missiles hit, S sjc flight, jS
Astral Vision not required. Shadow Blade has fixed hit stun, and after a launch so does Shell Kick, so the infinite is simply Shadow Blade M xx Fly, j.S repeat at the correct height to be able to land and Shadow Blade before they actually hit the ground.
Oh. I’ve tried this for a long time, and I’ve never had it work.
The infinite Or at least 3 reps of it
Do you think its actually an infinite or just a long loop?
The only way it may be a long loop is if the hard knock down is effected by hit stun scaling at some point which I don’t think it does. You even have time to move forward to re-establish spacing after the fly. ^.^
Must…Learn…
How difficult do you think it is?
You actual Morrigan players should have it down pretty fast actually. It’s a bit difficult for me, but with practice it’ll be stable.
If this is an actual infinite this is just too good. You can do this from any starter as long as you launch them and get the correct height, right?
Yep, works as long as you have them at the right height and you’ve launch installed them. Requires corner.
I was able to set up the infinite off of:
s. L, cr. MHS, Sj. H xx fly, H xx unfly, (falling) S.
Yeah, I’m like 95% sure you can get it off Magneto S jMMH xx Disruptor xx Tempest DHC Shower, or Phantom Dance DHC Shower, but I suck too much to actually pull it off. I keep missing the dash in shell kick like 60% of the time even. That said, I think Wesker corner c.LMH xx Cobra Strike, OTG Sam Edge, c.MHS jH xx Phantom Dance DHC Shower has a lot of potential in general, because it’s fully possible to hit jMHS after it as well, might lead into some corner Soul Fist loops even.
On a positive note, I still have cMH6H xx Soul Fist H down. I just keep canceling the H fireball to astral vision too fast, and when I do hit it, the Shadow Blade after words is not easy.
Can anyone or chrisis test if this can be set up off Ammy Cold Star assist? Would the infinite be easier to setup once you get them in cold star assist in a combo?
You can do it off Jam Session so I think in this case you could do it off of cold star as well.
