I can only get to the second J.MHS, before the dummy is too far up for me to land and c.M before it techs. Looking at the video it seems like you need j.S to come out only once and I have no idea how to do it. It always combos 2 or more times.
The second one can be pretty tough if you’re just starting out, but if you’re confident in your SF cancelling go for it. Otherwise you can try L c.M c.H f.H j.MMH Soul Fist L xx Fly ADF HS land S j.MMH Shadowblade M xx Finishing Shower
I find this to be a lot more consistent as L cM cH fH jMMH xx Soul Fist H, adf jHS, cHS myself. Double tap the H after the dash, and the crouching H, and it’s extremely consistent.
Is there a more consistent version of this? Or an alternative version thats slightly easier.

Not that its unreliable or anything, I just feel like it doesn’t work off of max range confirms? Or at least its much harder for me. My st.S relaunch whiffs a lot and I don’t feel like I have enough time to walk forward or anything, although my Morrigan is day one so i’m probably just missing something obvious about this loop.
Morrigan is tough on the hands too >.<, feels like I have to soul fist cancel at ungodly speeds to get these combos to be spaced properly, can’t imagine being able to keep it up over a long session or tournament.
I found that the regular one I’ve been using pretty much the combo after the first launch in that video above works, but that you need to delay the air dash down C a lot to prevent yourself from crossing under them, wait until they’re almost in position before air dashing and it will keep you on the correct side, if they’re super high in relation to you use an A soul fist after the air dash down C and they fall into it a little more.
I think you’re talking about regular SJ height hitconfirms. Ive had those down for a while now.
I was asking if anyone has any whilst in her Astral Vision mirror mode. The usual non AV ones dont work whilst in AV because of the way her movement and attacks work with the mirror image out.
I know, I was talking about while her Astral Vision is on, you need to delay between the first C and soul fist so they drop into the position where it will give more centered knock back on the soul fist instead of the weird one that knocks them back toward you more. Then you need to delay the dash so you don’t pass under them, it works just fine, but the timing is tighter.
Also, because of Astral vision, instead of normal jump forward into B, B, C xx 236B you can neutral normal jump B, C xx 236B there.
Oo, was just labbing it up with Morrigan and found out that you can combo grounded 623A xx 214S, S (to land only. This does not hit), 623B xx 214S!
This means that it may be possible to do super long extensions between assists like 236S xx 214S +(Burning kick) (slight delay), S (Burning Kick hits) 5C xx 623A xx 214S, S*, 623B xx 214S (Summon Jam Session late), 623A (land), 28, C xx 623C xx 214S, 623C for more damage than the previous variety, with Astral this should let you get pretty huge damage.
If you hit with a hard knock down air S while near the ground, you can link the landing 623B xx S before it actually causes the hard knock down, this lets you get additional extensions with another set hit stun move. Experimenting with this to see if it’s possible to set up a corner infinite.* EDIT: Confirmed, found a Morrigan infinite in the corner.
Combo: 2C +burning kick, 6C xx 236S xx 22A+B leads into either jump loops or soul fist loops anywhere on the screen, trying to figure out what I can do to control my spacing to get Soul Drain loops out of it as that would be really boss if for 1 starting meter I could steal 2 and kill a character.
Wtf is this, you come here and play Morrigan for like a month and you’re already finding a ton of tech?! I’ll jump into the lab tomorrow and try some stuffs out:)
