Cool combo. Nice use of the Spencer assist restand. The version I have could potentially do more, I think. I’ve only experimented with Jill’s wallbounce assist and that only gets me two extra grounded Palm - Flames reps, so maybe Vajra or something similar would work better.
I wish I still could record but I think I maxed out Strange’ damage for 1 bar with that one. It builds hella meter too.

Yeah 1.1m is where it caps out pretty much. If the combo can pay for itself and build 3 bars into his level 3 though, that’s a different story. Might wanna try to go for that if you haven’t already. Mine does, anyway.
Level 3 is overkill cause if I do it instead of Vishanti it kills everyone in the game off 1 touch. lol Plus I dont have to work so hard if I jus level 3
Just for fun anyway lol. We all pretty much broke Strange’s damage so we don’t need to do resets at all. Just open em up and combo into FoF loop until they’re dead ten times over. That’s the hardest part though.
I have so much tech including resets & assist uses for Strange I havent even shared yet XD

Ok this is an amazing discovery, i’m assuming you are transferring the corner teleport H combo into FOF loop to a midscreen version. If that’s possible then the jump up-back, delay, j.impact palm Strange crumple defense against grounded rushdown would be even more deadlier, the standard combo after of a crumple when Strange jumps upback is either the launcher > teleport H into combo, or the cr.H, mystic sword L into the IP loop. The possibility to add more damage to this combo midscreen would upgrade Strange counter offense by a lot.
I was transitioning into FoF-loops from the ‘classica’ impact loops and it already deals a ridiculous damage, With Doom’s missiles, it builds 2,5 meters, using two of them for a SoV and a sphere flame it goes to 1,172,000. And it is not as hard as flame-looping the whole way. :}

You’re talking about bringing them out of the corner or something? I’m not sure I follow. I can do that with Jill assist earlier into the combo but I don’t see how Strange could do that solo.
Nah, what I have in mind is -the- optimized midscreen combo. It’s stupid easy. Normally Strange can only get two reps of the triple Palm xx Flames off any midscreen combo, but notice Nemo does j.MMH~Palm xx Flames here. That’s how you get the third and increase your damage and meter build drastically. Strange builds over 3 bars doing this with one assist.

Like I said yesterday, we’ve been beating people up with wall-carries for almost 6 months now. Like Maziodyne probably felt watching Nemo’s tech, I wanted to slap myself for not seeing it. So long we have been treating each of his loops like a ‘separate’ thing, an ‘exclusive’ combo, if you would.Thing is, like I said, they are all wall-carries for the same stuff to happen.
Remember the first combo that Ryan came along? LMHS j.MHPalm (delayed)? Try doing delayed j.M, delayed j.H and going immediately to Palm-FoF-Palm-FoF. Do the same thing if you continue this combo landing and doing j.M j.H j.Palm - or go for the crumple-graces-sword one - into FoF-Palm S into another combo.
We can FoF-loop every single piece of tech we have brought up. And it took me forever to realize it. Heck, I never would have figured it out without this video that Mazio brought up.Only thing is, the title of the video should be “FLAME ON!” since that’s what it is all about, whoever records a compilation of the former loops getting all FoF-looped in extensions.
once again, how dumb can I be for never even wondering: “what if we could link this bunch of loops all together?”
So is it possible to “DHC Trick” into FOF loops in the corner? It looks like in the corner dhc’ing into counter puts you at the right spacing for H,6H,S>Loop?
With X-23 on point you can go from WXP at the peak of the last hit and have time to combo into the H with Strange. I don’t have the FOF loop down well enough now (tho I do have 1 full 3 set down out of maybe 15 attempts…PROGRESS…lol) to know whether it’s not possible or if it’s just my execution.
Edit: Actually, scratch that, it’s def. possible. Might be putting my girl back in front.
I’ve been able to do that with million dollars from Dante, and it was possible, but I could only get one rep since the HSD was already really high, so as soon as I did the second launcher to get another rep, the enemy reset.
Haven’t tested, but some candidates that probably allow him to FoF-loop: RRaccoon, Frank West, Nova, Thor (SERPENTAURUS! DHC DAT TORNADO EARLY!), Storm, among others. Not to say the THCs that allow Strange to keep comboing. Dormammu might be coming back, folks :3
Yeah Dorm/Strange/Ammy is looking mighty pretty right now… I’m running Dorm on Liberation assist for quite possibly the most broken THC in the game, Stalking Flare/SOV/Okami Shuffle. MAGIC!

I use him on dark hole cause it allows for an extension and you can combo out of the THC with chaotic flame…
If I could always time the purification assist tech that Ryan’s got with him, I’d use purification.

Ok that was amazing. So the way to optimize the flame loop is by starting it right after of the (j.MMH IP) x4 before Strange touch the ground.
