But doesn’t a FA crumple scale damage more than just simple strings? wouldn’t the Karakusa set it back to 100% for one hit?
Quick question about the FFSS combo series, do you guys recommend using negative edge for that? IE: hp > HC (use say, lp.hayate, cancel with lk, hold them) > s.mp > s.mp (hold) > EX Oroshi (negative edging the lp and mp) ?
Or do you just go for it normally?
No, Karakusa counts as a hit and keeps the combo going or starts a combo bc they cant do anything after it if you dont fuck up the timing.
Omg Ninja, that last hit, the money shot very sweet. At first I thought, what the hell man? Why aren’t you going for the ultra? sweet stuff
I wasn’t 100% on the ultra killing him and I didn’t wanna give a second chance with Orbs so I did that. I didn’t plan to end the match in such a cool fashion but it happened haha
Can we get a list of Makoto’s Option Selects compiled in this bad boy?
Has anyone explored anti-throw properties on f+HK?
After I tested how you could use it against Rufus’s U2, I happened to accidentally use it to avoid Ibuki’s U1 and hit her. So I messed around with it and it definitely seems like at least part of the animation is either airborne or throw immune (Reversal Zangief U1 whiffs while he’s waking up right in my face.) I’m not sure if there are any practical uses for this but regardless I’m curious now to find out the exact properties of the move and how long it stays airborne.
Also, apparently you can juggle people after f+HK if you hit them while they’re airborne, was this known?
The circumstances in which you could land an anti-air f+HK with time to juggle are pretty impractical, but I thought it was interesting to note.
I’ve been having trouble hitting the s.hp >hayate feint>s.mp I find the timing after the feint is a little difficult. Do you guys plink the s.mp after the feint?
Interesting.
And yeah, the juggle properties on f+hk were known. There are just like 0 situations where it’s practical.
IS there any situation where you will be able to follow up?
I couldn’t even get it to hit when the person was in the air, just late off of a FA2
Any clue what part/s of it may be throw immune, i’ll training room this today to check it out.
I’m not sure if this was posted already but, Makoto can dash under Hakans dive grabs.
I’ve already posted (and its in the OP)
FA2 -> step*2 -> HP fukiage -> (kara) HP fukiage -> EX tsurugi (326 dmg / 522 stun)
works on: guile, honda, makodo, abel, el fuerte, dictator, sagat, gouki, deejay, t.hawk, cody, sakura
There is a way to use the same combo against:
Seth, Gouken, Hakan, Zangief, Claw, Boxer
doing:
FA2 -> f+HK(feint) -> kara MP fukiage -> (kara) HP fukiage -> EX tsurugi
It means 18 characters. Thats good.
Hey vryu good stuff, question cant hakan just go dash * 2 kara hp fukiage cause he falls so slow? Also what about Adon?
Also i cannot replicate the above, are you sure its f+hk feint after fa lvl 2 dash? Cause it seems way too slow, mp fukiage doesnt even come out in time to hit without the kara it seems like? Is it dash * 2 kara mp fukiage?
in fact, you have to do FA2 -> delay (no dash) -> HP fukiage.
Versus boxer, f+HK(feint) is perfect timing. I thought it worked the same for the other in the list. But no.
Against them, you just have to wait a bit.
FA2 -> walk a bit -> fukiage
Ok i did some testing, for those chars a good setup seems to be dash * 2, kara LP fukiage. Works with all the ex fukiage chars with the exception of adon.
IT possible to kara ex karakusa? I don’t have super I just wanna know, in case I get a chance to play it as mak.
Yes it works.
How do you kara fukiage?
