Mickey, this thread is amazing I just recently started to have people over to my house over here in Ellensburg to learn the game and stuff and I directed most of them to this thread immediately so they knew what I was trying to get into and what they were kinda getting into and I have been getting positive feed back.
Any of those peeps play Seth? 
nah man they literally haven’t really played I’m just basically teaching them the basics of each and directing them here. They are all beginners really but its nice because I am being hit up with text by them every night wanting to get some sessions in and learn more so they are eager to learn and thats a good thing.

Hey everyone… my name’s Ben I live a little south of you all up in Sea-Town,Kirkland, and Lynnwood and such… I live in Puyallup/South Hill… but i’ve been searching for people to play with/against to get better… Every time I ask someone online who seems pretty into the scene (to me since i’m new) they always ask me… hey have you played or met up or even talked to Micky D…? and the replay i always no… so i did some searching and finally came across this website… i don’t normally get on forums and such… but i think that this post and watching some videos of the 5 on 5 tournament that they had down in California is really firing me up… The more i watch those videos of people over on the east coast talkin shit… then the people in Cali talkin shit… gettin better… practicing forming bonds with other fighters… and most of all making friends and a hobby out of gaming is the shit… Like i said before… i’m pretty new to all of this and don’t have much… well any credability… but if you players in the NW and mainly in Western WA wanna play… i’m down to play… and meet you guys…
oh and i just saw a short video about tournament wars that i guess Micky D and Frank held at the best western? that’s koo a hell… though i’m not 21 yet… (i turn 21 next august) i hope that i will be able to join next season…? Tournament Wars is pretty much a weekly thing. We have a singles tournament beforehand now, starting at around 7:30PM unless something gets in the way of it too. I know there is atleast one guy that comes from Olympia sometimes, and we have another guy who lives out towards Puyallup I think that doesn’t have a car and would probably greatly appreciate a carpool

Quick Backstory: I’m terrrible and it doesn’t help that I keep changing mains and having to learn new strats. I just have the problem of trying to play non-scrubby, but not having the execution down to do so. Also I have some bad habits from playing against CPU all the time. I know execution just comes down to me practicing but maybe you can help me learn to not do stupid shit with my gameplay at least.
Currently I’m maining Gouken and once again getting my ass handed to me by people that I know I should be beating online. (G3-B 900-ish Grade points is where I’m at.) I work night shift so I’m usually playing late at night anywhere from 12am to 4am.
I also don’t really know anyone, but did attend tournament wars for the first time last night and it seems like a really cool scene that would be cool to get into. If you get a chance, check it out. I don’t know anyone who lives down in Puyallup though. I’m in Bellevue myself.

The first place I would recommend meeting people from our scene is Gameworks in down town Seattle. It’s off of Union st exit 165-B from I-5, and Gameworks is on 7th and Pike st. There is another thread called “Rally Point: Gameworks” that you should check out if you’re interested. Just make a post in there like the day of or the day before you decide to go to Gameworks in order to maybe get other players from this scene to meet you there and play you.

To new people, I would suggest using the “Get to know a negro better” thread to introduce yourself, that is the main casual/social thread for the northwest and more people will read it. :tup:
