What’s really screwed up is we will see less and less new IP’s. No one will want to try a new game because 1) you can’t rent them (as for now) and 2) you may fear that the game my suck and its up to the publisher to say if you can trade or sell it. Also do they control the price it can be sold at? Good bye ebay… People will continue to play the same ol $h!t COD25 Madden100, AC15 only because they feel they have a better chance of enjoying it because of the past versions and sometimes that’s not the case. But if you have to choose over COD 10 and a new FPS IP you never heard of, most will choose COD. this whole setup will kill the gaming industry as we know it. Nothing original, just the same ol $h!t every year updated.
