This may very well be the nail in the coffin if it’s true. Hell, even if this console was perfect, I predict less than stellar sales for the XB1 AND the PS4, anyway. Reading over the thread, some people might not like hardcore gamers for what ever fucking reason. Well why arent you guys hating on casuel gamers? They can be the biggest fuck sticks ever. Not saying hardcore gamers are any better, but its the casuel gamers which is what microsoft is going after. While Sony is trying to go after every kind of gamer. Nintendo seems like they just want casuel gamers as well, yet they want everyone to have fun.
Except that even CASUAL Gamers would be turned off by the DRM shit.

Saying every hardcore gamer is a arrogant consumer sounds dumb. Im sure not every single hardcore game in the world is arrogant. Some have just better taste in games then others like Id rather buy dark souls over my little pony adventure. Then I have gamestop employs asking me if I want this game, and im like no thanks, and then they ask me if I want to pre-order anything, and again im like no thanks. Then they get all mad cause I didnt want what they were trying to give me. If I wanted your opinion I would have asked for it. And be like everyone else buying COD, Halo, Gears Of War. Sorry but not everyone has the same taste in games as you, I’ll I want to do in gamestop or any game store is get 1 or 2 games and leave and not be bothered by 20 questions about buying this or that.
This pretty much. My wife asked me if I was planning on getting the system and told her no then she asked why and I told her. She found it to be dumb as hell. Most of the masses who aren’t even aware of all the details are going to catch a rude awakening about it later unless someone tells them ahead of time.

Casual gamers are casual, but they want games with no hassle. The Xbox 1 is a major hassle. Right now, NO GAMER, Hardcore, casual or otherwise has any reason to pick up this system on the sheer fact of the DRM alone.
