Most compnies (and most people in general) see how far they can push their limits. How far can they push a feature that would benefit themselves more than their consumers. This is not only a fact in business, but a fact of the world and who we are as people. We push limits to know what lines not to cross.
I’m not putting much faith into this, but I’d bet that you can do the voice recognized functions in the xbox guide. Otherwise that would really suck for mutes. My friend Abby would never be able to do anything because she can’t speak

the list is fake, but its just funny. most of it is still 3rd party, and 2 halo games and fable. rare reviving a franchise? oh shit, lets surprise them with with a new banjo kazooie and a new ki… they’ll never expect 2 rare revivals…
Maybe they’ll give KI the MK treatment, with MK9 being simply called “Mortal Kombat” again.
I don’t think that a franchise that only has 2 games in its’ history can afford a reboot even after so many years since the last game.

People have been saying stuff like that FOREVER…take no heed at it. M$'s biggest issues are tied to being too slow. They delivery competent and good versions of items, but they are slow…think about how long it took for them to release a tablet or their own OS for a tablet.
I ‘think’ M$ saw what Apple did - essentially craft a market to dominate (mp3 devices), and splinter that off into more opportunities. M$ has been trying for a long time to make that ‘the living room’, even going back to Win: MCE. No one has truly struck gold there so they are trying to win that to expand further. Until then, analyst are going to continue to spew things such as ‘break up’ or ‘cancel’ non-money makers - they are in the business of maintaining financial trends less so than growing them. What those idiots aren’t paying attention to is that M$ already LOST the mobile front. Not even to Apple, but to Google. On top of that PC sales are dwindling and will continue to do so for the next 4+ years apparently, where it won’t go up, just flatline - so M$ ‘money making well’ is drying up and they need new sources of revenue…you don’t do that for a company as large as M$ by developing apps for Droid/iOS or fighting an already lost battle. They’ve got to innovate and own up. If the Kinect takes off and can become more ‘common place’, a more futurized Siri if you will, think of the money that could pour in. Tablets with modified “Shrunken” Kinects instead of just forward facing cameras? Laptops that skip the web cam for Kinect Cam? TVs that pay M$ to build Kinect into it like the Smart stuff? its a tremendous opportunity (which is why they are being assholes about pushing it).
You HAVE to think growth in this day and age - unless you’re ketchup (which should have still grown to India and China) or toothpaste.
