Outside SF4 and UMVC3 every game runs equal or better on PS3
Add that until rescently you were able to buy the games/dlc and share it up to 5 ps3, now is 2 but still it saves a lot of money.
There are other reasons like that at the beginning the 360 didn’t have to much controls/sticks and / or converters, add that the PS3 accepts almost all the pc controllers.
-Brings Xbone to casual gathering/animu club/whatever in a local community centre/church with no internet available
-Can’t play games fellow members bring along because lol used game DRM
-Would like to sell games without getting screwed in the ass by gamestop
-Internet goes down for more than a couple of days
-All your single player games go down with it
-A multi day tournament is running at a venue with no internet (eg. SVB, it was England’s major for several years)
-Your internet is fine but XBL goes down for more than a couple of days
-A few years down the line the service is discontinued

also am i the only one who noticed that in Sony’s responses to the no-drm campaign they havn’t yet said they wont be utilizing the patents they have on the books… seems like the iron is mighty hot for the striking at this point, so i’m not really sure why sony isn’t going for the jugular and saying they wont go in microsofts direction. Unless of course it means that they are going in the same direction that microsoft is, that will just be too much irony after all the victory lapping being done.

That’s sort of my point/thinking. Sony is NOT going to be innocent. The attack on used games is a dual assault. It’s why honestly - you don’t see me bent out of shape about it. The PS4 is shaping up better for tech reasons, but the crap people are upset about, most of it - whether true or not - will not be unique in function, just different in form.
The Kinect stuff though - in it’s current known capacity - is an issue, not major, but not something I like. That’s really it. shrug
When you have things coming directly from Microsoft employee’s mouths, i doubt its speculation.
A the end of the day MS and Sony have to appease their third party developers, without them there is no profit in the console market.
Platinum has already confirmed they are not porting Bayonetta 2.
I can’t imagine that developers would be cool with one company having fees for used games but not the other. I’m no industry expert but it seems like they would want Sony to do it also.

Welp, i love Bayonetta, but in no way i will throw my money on a new console just for that game, and no, neither of the 1st party games of nintendo are from my liking.
