Sometimes I wish we still had guys like Hiroshi Yamauchi around. If publishers tried to pressure him into implementing fees for used games, he’d tell them to GTFO. Yamauchi was the baddest man on the planet.
I will be only mad if they made some sort of deal that takes away the rights of Bayonetta from Platinum, like what Sega did with GG, TRF and other games, and that ends fucking P* and Bayo in the long run because Nintendo ends seeing the game as a failure because it doesn’t sell as much they expected.
Lets be honest, there is a good chance that the game doesn’t end selling well due the apathy of many fans on buying a WiiU just for Bayo2, not to mention the subpar sales of the WiiU in general.
I am afraid that if Bayo2 comes at the same time of other Nintendo 1st party games, it will be end ignored by the nintendrones.
The point is that the PS3 is set to training stage only for SF4 because it occassionally lags in other stages. 360 doesn’t have that problem. Also Marvel lags way more frequently when crazy shit is happening. A lot of PS3 tournaments do this for that reason, and no it isn’t because of the lines in the training stage.
But Sega does own Bayonetta, not P* and not Nintendo, Sega does. As for the fear of it being dead due to lack of sales, yea i guess if you decide to ignore the fact it was already dead cuz no one else wanted to fund it. Honestly, this is a second chance for the IP, a rather slim second chance (tho recent Wii-U sales make me a bit hopeful) but it’s still a second chance for an IP that had no chance at a sequel to begin with. I understand it being on a Nintendo console means it might as well not exist for you, but that doesn’t mean it flat out doesn’t exist, which is what the true status of the IP was when trying to shop a sequel to the other console publishers.
From my persepctive it’s better then not getting it at all. Might be the same for you, but hey, that’s you, and you’re not me, and you’re not many other other people either. We’ll see what happens when it happens, we don’t even have a real first trailer for the thing, meaning we have no clue when the product will even be out. I’m not gonna start nagging on “Nintendrones” or whatever about buying it over other products when we don;t even know what it’s releasing against. Pointless.
Whenever I watch HD Porn through my 360 I often wonder if someones watching me jerk it through the kinect cam. Thats why I make the kinect face the wall before my sessions thing is I think they can still hear me making noises. I get can get very loud sometimes.
Did i say otherwise?
We already knew that both SSF4 and UMVC3 run “better” on 360 due how shitty is capcom to make their games run well on the console where they are porting their games, just look at how SFxT runs better on PS3 instead of the 360, since it was developed for the PS3 first instead of the 360 like the other 2.
We also knew that they wouldn’t buy new consoles for those games, so is not surprise that they will enforce that rule.
Im fucking sick of Bonne Wonderland and tournaments run on PS3. Its either training room or Bonne Wonderland and since the game came out in Nov. 2011 and everyone picking it so they can see everything or dont lag on ps3 it drives me nuts.
I want some days of future past or my favorites, tricell lab or chaos at tricell.
Even on xbox offline people pick bonne wonderland or training mode out of habit of playing on ps3. Motherfuckers that shit dont lag on xbox. Not even when both players are on X factor 3 does it lag on xbox. Its just the ps3 jitters kicking in.
And the fucks who pick bonne wonderland when you are playing on a HD monitor at 720p so “they can see”. Mother fucker are you BLIND? jesus H christ.
My issues with the machine lie in the very concept of trying to be everything to everyone. It’s not unlike AAA game models, which is the topic of my latest blog update. Xbox One is kinda the first AAA console. Shallow, homogenized, full of features and none of them done particularly well. It took a while to find something to say that a million people didn’t already tweet, but I suppose this point is what I feel the most about the thing.
I may get one eventually, if only because I love Halo that much, but the days of Microsoft being my main console seem over.
They were surprised by the backlash and have been backtracking since the announcement, everything they said has been purposely vague in order not to hang themselves. I’m willing to bet they’re going to change a few things to please us.
RROD. It was cost effective at the time to get a PS3 because they were less prone to dying due to overuse.
Easier to get DLC. Simply put, being able to file share DLC helped out a ton.
In Vanilla, it was easier to get all the characters unlocked than 360 because you could copy save files. Of course, in '09 it resulted in the “You did not receive a trophy” freeze during some matches.
They already had some PS3s available due to running T5DR the year before.
That’s at least four of the reasons i could think of that PS3 would be most optimal. If you wanted to go into a grey area (which Evo won’t, but other tournaments prior to it might have) If you lacked adequate copies of the game and still needed them on the cheap, and had access to a BR burner, the lack of region locks on PS3 games didn’t prevent you from playing backups.
don’t really know why my 360 makes more noise while playing a game than my ps3 does if you count that the 360 has the power supply outside of the console(that huge dildo sitting on the floor). I heard the xbone will have it as well. Take a look at the size of that thing and still the PSU is not included in it?.
360 is the loudest console that I’ve ever had (all of them, even the new ones), except for when an old DC or PS1 starts eating your discs or something. To be fair though, that’s not normal operating noise, but rather an unfortunate system design flaw.
