This is ignoring the point that OG98 and UM98 are two drastically different games, due to UM’s fixing Extra and including Ultimate mode, and the in-general buffing of most fireball characters and their fireballs, and the nerfing of many moves BS priority makes the game much more projectile-focused than OG98 was. In OG98 iori was the only top tier character with a fireball (ex chris doesnt count) and his fireball was one of the least great things about him. Now the top tier is a happy mix of fireball and non-fireball characters (in my opinion for the UM tierlist you posted, the top two tiers should be the same tier)

We(People I know in person) all have a specific goal in mind, to play games that are good no matter WHO made them. I play MvC 2 just as I play Karnov’s Revenge.
But I have at least 10 people I can play with here consistently. And in Loseianna, that’s saying a lot outside of MvC 2 and SF 4.
