3.SNK isn’t the end all be all, son. They fuck just as equally as Capcom does now. Samurai Sen is trash as KOF XII is too. I just rather companies be rewarded for making great games by sales and players. 98um and 2002um are stellar and deserve all the praise they get. As does HDR and other stellar remakes.
4.You got me here. I don’t look at the tiers for that game. I’d rather just play the game and not bitch about it. Daigo said Japan would love it though. That should mean something to you.
In the end, There is no “Front” to the SNK scene. Hell, There isnt even an SNK scene. Take it from a mexican, That shit is non existant.
Also I dont know what Mystic is talking about SNK not having a community in Mexico. KOF 2002 has quite the community in Mexico, and I know a community of KOFXI players in Mexico in different regions. I have seen this with my own two eyes. Maybe not where he (Mystic) goes, but where I go I see the KOF community and it’s clear as day.
Also in Tijuana you got Team Lagos (Who I’m gonna try to work with to organize TJ tournaments) and you got various other groups in Mexico so maybe it’s where he’s talking about in Mexico.
Plus if I were to list the number of National tournaments for KOF 2002 that go on in Mexico on a regular basis…
For example…the Veracruz National going on the middle of December and others that are GOING ON CONSTANTLY…

These are just a few, trust me tournaments are going on for KOF in Mexico almost as much as you see or close to it as Street Fighter and the EVO games here…easily.

What I meant is, People that get together in one place and play. Maybe there they do, Where I go which is farther south(Morelia) There isnt really a collection of players. Mostly randoms that play at random arcade cabs near taco shops. I mean of course theres a community, But a scene nah. Maybe I should have said scene…Misses mexico
Oh okay I see what Mystic is talking about now…yeah in that sense he may be right depending on the location in Mexico. Juarez is one of the hotspots so you’ll find a few main places where people play, and people go to Lecter’s, play at Kiras for the KOFXI, and other places so it depends really on where u are.
