You could have just as easily (actually, even more easily) gotten that high and further with over two dozen other characters. If anything, you spent less time at the top as Poison than you would have as a less-anticipated character. Not trying to flip your gratitude to Poison into a grudge; Just sayin’.

I like playing Poison because footsies are hard enough. But anyone that can play footsies in those heels? Definitely skilled.

I liked Poison in Final Fight, but I kinda liked everybody in Final Fight. Either way, I’m glad she’s finally in a Street Fighter game and just wish it’d happened sooner. But in the relatively short time I’d been playing Super Street Fighter IV, I mained Dudley and Juri. I was looking forward to Ultra just so I’d be able to play Hugo, since I played him in 3rd Strike. Poison interested me, too, so I took her for a spin after playing a little Hugo and holy crap, she’s got everything. Even a command backdash, which can be really useful to set up counterattack opportunities. I’m probably not gonna play Hugo as much as I thought I was.

I love her character design and she has a really balanced move set. I feel like whatever I want to do for the matchup, be it zone, poke, rushdown, whatever, I can do. I’m never like “damn I wish I had X tool to deal with this matchup” cause she pretty much has everything (except a good walkspeed T_T).

Also, she’s pretty easy on the execution. I hate links.

Hmmm. Really liked her in Final Fight. Her design was shocking to me at the time. Had no clue about her “backstory” until she was announced for xTekken and I went googling.

What’s to say that hasn’t already been said? She has a complete moveset that isn’t cheap as fuck (yeah I’m lookin at you Ryu and Ken), her design is awesome (although I’m not feeling the wrestling angle so much especially since she’s a striker not a grappler), and the looks on people’s faces at the character select screen. I do wish we could have her other alt costume from xTekken though. That was badass!

After hearing what’s been said here, I think I’ll give her a try. I like fundamental-based characters (especially cuz I need the most work in that)

It’s pretty accepted she at least likes women. Bi, les or whatever. Her profile in Japan says she loves big breasts. I guess it is pretty open to interpretation.

So… Yesterday (it’s already Sunday here ._.) i finally had the chance to play USFIV (PC Player, i have to wait until August =/ ) with my local group of players. Tried all the new characters and Poison is the one who “clicked”, I think she managed to “get me” because i’m a Rose player, and Poison feels a lot like her (kinda slower normals, and some special are kinda lacking too), just a bit more offense oriented. Obviously, this is an opinion based on yesterday experience, but i think that further study (i’m going to borrow a 360 to play more with her) could only bring me to like her even more. She has a lot of potential (and in theory she could cover really well some of the worst, at least in my opinion, match-ups Rose has.), and i really like her “a bit of everything” play style. If all goes well, she could become my new main and Rose my sub, and i would be okay with that.

On a side note… She’s sexy as hell, but that’s not the point.

Because I love all the final fight characters and the game itself. I am a Cody player and I noticed that I tend to go in way too much at times making unnecessary mistakes and losing because of it. That is why i picked up Guile and Poison/Rose to learn to cool down a little and not go ham all the time. Rose was very very boring to me though, That is why i am sticking with Poison. She is fun and I like her as a character.
