How is the level in Chile?
I don’t believe that is the same level that mexico, but maybe is a bit respected
So from Pelvic Thruster’s reply, it’s obvious that he just despises the country and it’s people, and so feels increasingly irritated when they get praised (again, for something they deserve).

You know, there is pressure in almost anything anyone does, if they care about how they are perceived by other people for doing those things.
Some people can feel pressured by a 1 on 1 match with no one else watching, if they care about how their opponent perceives their playing ability. I’ve had people play me online that claimed they were extremely nervous when playing me (I won’t name any people specific but there have been atleast two).
If you don’t care about how the crowd perceives you while you are playing in a tournament (or money match or whatever), and if you don’t care about the final result of that match, then you have nothing to feel nervous about. Just play your best and don’t worry about anything else, if you want to eliminate nervousness.
Not saying that I’ve mastered this but it’s something to consider if you feel pressured all the time.
I’ll have to get back to you, I have a contact of mine that can give me good info on the Chilean scene.

I’ll be honest, though I may be new: I don’t care about Mexico, I don’t care about Brazil, and I certainly don’t care about the next prodigy you’re trying to root out of the rainforest. I care about the United States, and quite frankly, I care about getting folks from within this country to give these games more than just a whirl.
I mean, you can play the part of Dr. Livingstone, I presume, but I’d rather be playing folks that I can communicate with and so happen to live at least in some sort of proximity to myself and others.

No I havent forgotten about the USA. I am glad my hard work paid off getting Mr. KOF the recognition he deserves and getting him to come out, and now I’m working on others like m121legendx from Ohio to bring the USA Sam Sho hype, and other hidden talent that I know is in not only California, New York, but other places in the USA. So my work in the USA is far from over, it’s just begun. But I do believe I can work on all these things at once, thus the tournaments like Raging Storm El Paso, Raging Storm MidWest, Raging Storm Los Angeles in the future, and a lot of other tournaments to come in the future in the USA alone.
Let’s talk KOFXIII, what they need to add to beef up the gameplay.
More Moves, Make it 3D and More character, oh yeah and Mai. Well that is what all the people who complain about KOF12 want.
I want KOF XIII to give Chin his jug back. That was like the only long distance attack he had in the past that was truly annoying. That and give him that annoying toe stance again where he moved around with his toes. I need that to troll my enemies.
aside from a boss, stages and more single player worth material which isn’t that important, i would be happy if the gameplay is like a mix of 97/98 with xii… meaning :~
return 1 frame grabs and throw priority…
return atleast 3 dm stocks…
return old school c+d counter and a+b guard cancel method…
take out b+c+d… it’s horrible…
give every character atleast 1 sdm…
include ultimate juggle sdms…
keep the smooth controls of xii…
keep new c+d combo and charge ability…
keep the clash system…
definitely keep CCs but try to improve it somehow…
please add regular throw breaks…
add favorite characters from all the sagas such as yamazaki, k’, kula, oswald, duck king, blue mary and mai…
keep new iori but please and i mean please give us an alternate 97/98 iori…
and definitely improve on every single character’s movelist and make combos exciting to do outside of CCs cause this is gonna be kofxiii …not kof 96 rebout… being a kof game it’s sad when most sf4 combos look more fun than non CC regular kofxii combos aside from very few characters such as iori… add character specific otg combos, air combos, stun combos etc …get creative cause right now almost every character gets boring within a few weeks max… just try to remember 98/2k2 and specially XI for what u guys r capable of and what we fans expect from u snk…

and ya i played emil in 98 and his chizuru is absolutely disgusting… he has a really good iori and kyo too… he is really good overall… and from DGs vids he is really good too… so it’s better if they battle it out instead of guessing who is better…

Why don’t you join us? I’d rather see a KOFXIII wishlist than keep talking about a coward that sits at home all day, probably uses macros, doesn’t know anything about handling pressure offline in a real time tournament, and I could go on and on.
Good online player does not equal good offline player. I’ve had countless people tell me Emil is a good player, and I respect him as one, but that doesnt mean shit offline I’m sorry.
One example of online vs. offline at NDP 2k9:
In casuals Omerta was beating Kane9999 in Garou MOTW and Omerta represented THE ONLINE PLAYER playing offline his first time…With Kane9999 representing offline.
BUT WHEN THINGS COUNTED WHEN THAT CAMERA ROLLED…Kane9999 won (2x, the first one and the rematch!)…and Omerta said it was because he choked due to having never played offline.

Btw…if Kane9999 really won because Omerta choked, then Kane9999 shouldn’t be feeling very confident. I certainly wouldn’t feel too confident in my victory if I knew I won because my opponent choked for whatever reasons, particularly distractions.
