I can tell you right now, I’m about 50 times better offline. People who cant touch me offline can beat me online with a few frames lag because I cant punish properly or react.

Still, it would really help you look a bit more credible if you actually came out to anything, even a casual, and show people your stuff. Although the transit system isn’t top notch, it’s still useful. I remember once when the snow was coming down one winter that I travelled a few hours by transit with psychochronic to visit a guy in Toronto just to spend most of the day playing SNK games.
Sure, I admit I’m far from good but I just want to get out there, meet new people and play. Heck, I think my Melty Blood game improved just by hanging with one of my buddies in an offline casual session some time ago.

Oh yeah while we talking about who plays KOF the Best, I’m trying to setup Mexico vs. Panama right now due to some info I got about Panamanian players coming to Mexico in January so I will keep you all updated.
The arcade at Pacific Mall is still there but is now run by Playdium. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of SNK cabs to really sit down and play at (last I checked was KOF 2001 and SvC IIRC).
And why did they decide those SNK games?
Anyway you guys should play on ggpo/2df, there aren’t many canadian players on ggpo that care much about kof, aside of some chinese.
Got back from Hong Kong on friday and players in HK are pretty good, i couldn’t even beat low level guys on 02, 98um or 02revenge (not that i’m any good myself anyway).
Though on XII they suck, but it’s to be expected since they don’t seem to play it.
I’ll have a short write up along with pics in the next few days on my blog hopefully once i get back to normal sleeping.
I recommend visitng HK once at least if you like older KOF games, especially 02.
