Lol I dont even know there is a funny thread in srk.
Keep arguing, I like it.
btw, i know there is a player call eric (tw) from ggpo , he is really good, although he argued with me before, but he has really good. u know him ? Emil, he is from canada also
Yeah I played him. He beat me but…I think the guy is an idiot. Basically I won a few matches, he won more matches and had a streak on me. Then I won a match, HE leaves blatantly(it didn’t crash) and then told people in the chat that I was a dropper. Don’t trust that guy.
LOL…Online don’t mean a thing in real life as I am sure you know.
LOL. Man my internet HAD TO BE DOWN TODAY…just got up…the moment I saw John post that up boy I KNEW we were in for some shit today lol.
LOL even Chris Hu pops in here for this shit lol. Hey Chris while we are at it, you down for coming to Raging Storm El Paso at the end of February? You vs. Mr. KOF rematch, this time in regular 98. I got someone named Alexis that would want to play you too. We also are having a SF4 tournament, so you can win money in SF4 since this is primarily an SNK event.
I’ll even be willing to go half on your plane ticket if you down…just let me know what you think…
Also whats funny about this Eric guy from Taiwan IN CANADA is even though Emil may not know him…HE’S STILL THE SELF-PROCLAIMED BEST PLAYER IN THE USA AND CANADA…
Says the guy who avoids a 5 minute setup at the comfort of his own home in an environment that will probably be laggless (unless you have a bad connection).
It’s pretty obvious why you are a fraud…you know I won’t accept the offline challenge for other reasons (don’t travel, don’t have hte time to travel, don’t think it’s worth the hassle for what I get out of it, etc). However, you are strictly using this challenge (and the fact that I wouldn’t accept it) to attack my character. In essense, you know they won’t happen and you are hiding behind the fact that they won’t happen, but making it look like I’m a coward for not accepting.
My challenge is different though - almost anyone would accept it because you’re in the US, it’s 5 minutes to setup ,all the links are easy to provide and it’s in the comfort of your own home. I expect anyone that isn’t a foreigner, to accept this challenge. This is why I’m baffled that you refuse to accept it (it is far far far less baffling why I wouldn’t decide to travel to play you). While you not declining my challenge does attack your character, the purpose of the challenge isn’t to do that, unlike your challenge (since you hide behind the fact that you know it is very unlikely to happen anyway).
This thing with the ignore is also extremely childish. You put me on ignore, mention my name in practically every post you make, and then refuse to listen to any post I make (and this one probably, unless you decide to click on it manually). It’s pretty easy to expose how childish and illogical you are.
Emil… you do realize online is a lot different from offline? Right? There is always going to be lag, and it makes a huge difference if youre a serious player. The more serious I get with games, the less and less I can tolerate online and I start looking for offline competition. No matter what, if you and DG for example set up a huge ass motherfucking cable directly from his house to yours (a strange example, but it works right?) there would still be lag. Beating DG or Mr KOF over 2DF/GGPO doesnt prove anything other than you’re better with lag, delay, frame skip, etc than they are. Does that prove much? No, not really. I bet half the motherfuckers that beat me or who I beat online might either stomp me or prove to be worthless offline.
Let’s throw a BlazBlue example out there since I’m not huge into KOF yet like you guys. Lets say if my Ragna were against your Nu. Online, I might be able to react to Nu’s sword pressure. Or you may not be able to punish the holes in Ragna’s pressure. Offline, its more legit. No lag, no delay, no bullshit. So if you really wanna prove something to these guys play offline, that simple.
It’d make you a lot better player, be easier on yourself, and you’d gain more respect if you come out to one of the events and play DG or Mr. KOF or whoever else offline.
I am and I have told him that I would be countless times. But would he still play me? I’d have to stalk him just to get him to come out. As Arturo even said, he was once in Canada for a T tournament series and EMIL STILL DIDNT COME OUT.
I got plans to go to Toronto/Missauga area, and if anyone will know it will be Emil. I will post up without a shadow of a doubt when I am in that area, so once again it will be Emil on the run not me…I may even take Mr.KOF with me, so it’ll be clear Emil is on the run…not giving out his address, not coming out of his house etc. It’s as if someone else told me, in order to get him to play we’d have to kidnap him and drag him out of his house. Is that worth it? No…but showing up to Canada in his area and connecting with fellow Canadian SNK players ANYWAYS is worth it…and proving he’s a coward yet again when I’m in his country and in his area adds on to it. If he’s that much of a pussy then let him be a pussy.
Agreed 150%. But he doesn’t see this, even though someone who he jockrides and he knows it (Khannibal) sides with what we say…
Plus as I said before, if he doesnt wanna play offline and refuses all this what does that tell you? He’s got something to hide.
In addition to this if Emil did come out it would be an event by itself, I’d make a DVD out of it I’d call it **The world vs. Emil Part I **…because talking to some people in Mexico, he’s got some enemies even in Mexico that would like to show him who’s boss that would gladly come out…
Well actually I rarely even travel around here much either. Rarely will I go to my closest arcade (about an hour away) to play. Last time I found the time to go to my arcade was over a year ago. I was planning to check out loveghetty arcade back when blazblue was coming out but it didn’t really happen.
This offline thing might wokr if he came to my house to play, but this guy is loud and wild, I don’t think he would be able to stay long before he got kicked out.
Actually Dark Geese’s style (not necessarily Mr. Kof’s though) is more suitable for laggy environments. He just jumps around when he seems like he is out of options(almosta lways), his execution is not particularly good even offline, and thereis little emphasis on reaction gameplay.
