You still don’t understand that at high level play, those top players BEAT EACH OTHER. Whoever wins a match, doesn’t suddenly become better than the other person. The level is high enough that any top players can beat any other top player, but there are other factors (subjective, but still existent) that determine who is the better player.
Again, Kuroda is accepted(by the top players of Japan, not some random people on forums) to be the best. Did he win SBO this year? No. Did he win SBO before 2008? No.
That said, I don’t think if Esteban played Alexis, that they would be beating each other, becuase I see Alexis to be a much lower level player than Esteban, and so does Khannibal.
Also something else to add that could be a wrinkle in the fabric I didnt think about until now…if people like Skato from Monterrey come to the tournament and people from those cities better than Juarez come to the tournament then how do we know who is the best in Juarez?
I think the last stipulation should only apply IF there are no other people in the tournament that are better than CD. Juarez, Mexico. If there are people like Skato there and others, then its hard to see who is the best in Juarez by the tournaments standards.

The funny thing about all of this is Khannibal told me that he puts very little value in the Mexico vs. Japan matches online because he said Mexicans aren’t used to GGPO and GGPO is better for the Japanese due to their infrastructure.
Japan vs. Japan is better than Mexico vs. Mexico, but Japan vs. Mexico doesn’t give Japan any advantage even though they have better infrastructure. If anything, the disadvantage is against the japanese online because their gameplay is most dependent on precision and reaction.

Actually we played two matches in kof2k2 and both times he got ocved. However, yes it was very laggy…but what point are you trying to make? His connection wasn’t good so the matches were laggy, doesn’t mean that other online matches between other players are also laggy.
Um no, you are the one that doesn’t listen to yourself. If one player is playing autopilot while the other player is playing based on reaction and precision, then obviously the autopilot player will be much less affected by laggy conditions. This is precisely why scrubs are harder to beat in lag, even if both players are seeing the same lag.
