Hibiki Takane (Last Blade 2 & CvS2)
Greatest dark-horse roster pick in fighting game history. Nobody expected her and she turned out amazing. If destiny is so magnanimous as to grant us a CvS3, she absolutely deserves to come back. Even Rolento, himself one of the most awesome characters in that game, can’t fuck with Hibiki.

Street Fighter - Ken. He was so damn cool in Alpha 3 and in 3S he was GDLK. He’s more than just random Fierce SRKs too, he’s got some great pokes and cross-ups as well to go along with his deadly specials. Yes, he’s “the scrub character of all scrub characters hurr durr”. But I still enjoy playing as him.
King of Fighters - I liked Ken in Street Fighter, naturally I gravitated towards Terry. I love all his moves, and landing a rising tackle to finish an opponent is just so damn satisfying.
Soul Calibur - God damn, I love Tira. Both her sexy looks and her unique style of play. But fuck, it’s so hard to win with her even if you know what you’re doing. Hey Namco, could you make her better in SC5, please?
Tekken - No joke, I first chose Asuka in T5 because she looked a lot like some girl I had a crush on back in high school. This was back when T5 was in the arcade in Florence. I really like the way she plays too, she’s quick and can do a fair amount of damage with Leg Cutter combos.

but my favorite fighter of all time in any game has to be… Johnny from GG. The man has got style for days, hes not god tier so no one can bitch. And hes the man in black.
Johnny got nothing on pimpin’ Johnny Cage, who wears pimp glasses, punches you in the balls, and every time you kill him, his stunt doubles die instead

My all time favorite character is Hakumen from BB.
When I first got the game, I picked him because he has a cool look, then I found his moveset and abilities naturally clicked with me.
My Second favorite character is Genjuro Kibagami from Samurai Showdown.
Not only does he radiate badassery, he’ll beat you up using Hanafuda cards and celebrate with a bowl of Saki
Street Fighter- Chun Li. I main different characters in different Street Fighter games, but Chun-Li is always my secondary or third in every game. I like her for her speed and her design. The thighs scared me a little when I first saw her, though.
Tekken- Lei Wulong. I only played Tekken 2 and 3. He is my main in 2 and secondary in 3 (behind Xiaouyu). I’m glad to see a character based off Jackie Chan unlike Law where he is based of Bruce Lee (including Fei Long, Liu Kang, and Maxi). Lei’s stance is akward, but cool. His moves are very great like the Play Dead and the Cannonball.
Magneto, M. Bison, Chun-Li, Shang-Tsung, Sub-Zero.
I know of no man — alive or dead — that loves the spirit of the fight better than Joe Higashi from the Fatal Fury series. The man wears swim trunks to a fight because he knows he’s going to end up swimming in a pool of his opponent’s blood !
( And then he’ll rip 'em off and flash his bare ass just to heap more disgrace on his exsanguished foe. )
