Sentinel: probably the funnest character ever created. flying and stomping down opponents is too fun. not only is he one of the biggest characters ever created, hes also one of the fastest. and he got lasers.
rolento: he can run and he can also pressure just as well. theres something satisfying about beating down your opponent with a lead pipe. and throwing knives are always awesome.
gato: the epitome of a kung fu based character. unlike certain kung fu practitioners that just lames you to death (chun), have piss poor stamina (yun yang twins, gen and chun in sf4) or gets zoned to death (fei long), gato has none of those weaknesses. dude hits HARD, hits fast, has high priority moves and can get all over you like flies on shit in no time. and he cracks necks for fun.
If we were talking PERSONALITY wise, I could go all day about my fave characters. So Iāll just mention my girl Makoto. Reason I like her so much is sheās one of the first characters I took seriously when playing. Been a fighter fan since back in the day but I never played fighters seriously until 3rd Strike and a community finally formed in my town. She was the one I stuck with after āgraduatingā from Ryu. Her moves are aggresive, can play like a beast and my skill level with her grew from just trying her out mode to having some actual ability. In short, I like her because I became a better player WITH her.
Nero from Melty Blood, because heās the only character that ever truly clicked with me.
Other than that, Iād say Makoto, from Street Fighter 3. I could always tap buttons wildly and still win when I used her.
Zangief probably wins when it comes to SF, funny thing is the thing that first made to pick him was his theme! But aside from that he made me know that I love grappler characters, and I love his personality and patriotism.
B.B.hood is another badass character, I love it when a human manages to beat up monsters, especially in a universe where humans are looked down upon.
Maxi from the Soulcalibur series. He oozes cool and you just know heās slick with the ladies. He also has, in my opinion, the most innovative fighting mechanic of the last decade. His Pure Soul loops (essentially 5 or so rotating stances) combined with his nunchuk weapons was a revelation for me, and I vowed to master it. Unfortunately this system is prone to āmasher favortismā and his genius design is overshadowed by this (just like Eddy/Christie, whose fight mechanics are similar). Maxi is an awesome creation.
oro from sf3. so bad ass he has to fight with only one arm because if he used both arms chances are he would kill you.

Even though Iām not the biggest fan of SNK games in general, they do have my favorite fighting game character of all time: Robert Garcia, especially the later versions of him. He just oozes style with his stances/moves in the kof games, and his attire is slick. Ya gotta love the coin toss victory pose, as well.
I always felt he was more like Roy Jones Jr. in his prime.
I have too many to choose from.Recently Itād probably be Siegfried(SFIV).Wide range that does decent damage and is Fast as hell considering the huge fucking blade he carries.
Doom from MvC2 overrall would take mine though.Hes just my type of character, even If im not too good with him.

Ryu, Pai Chan, and Eddy Gordo gets some honors from me.
Its got to be dizzy from GG she hot :P. Very closely followed by Dictator.
SF: Charlie, Guile, Vega, Adon, Birdie, Balrog, Bison, ken was untill sf4 came out
Tekken: Bryan, Bruce, Lei, Steve fox, Kazuya,
Mortal Kombat: Scorpion, Chameleon, Noob & Smoke, Mavado, Quan Chi, reptile,
Bloody roar: Gado, Bakuryu, Shenlong, Reiji, Baraka,
Geese Howardā¦ A True symbol of power. Besides, who else could fall down a building and live?
Heihachi of course, the dude will live even after 3 nukes hit him.
Also Johnny Cage and other MK retcon-abuse characters. They fall from building, in middle of flight Vogel retcons their storyline and next moment they are alive and somewhere in Outworld

I kinda pity Heihachi, heāll never awaken the devil power within him cause he never faced a life threatening situation:rofl:. Still, the most badass character in Tekken, and an overall fighting favorite.
