Ryu: pretty cool guy
Guile: eh kills aleins
Jin Kazama: doesn’t afraid of anything
Favourite Characters that I actually play:
Remy: Very stylish character, everything from the vaguely euro design to the slick way he fights, definitely one of my favourite characters in a fighting game. I even like the way most of his normals look. His standing forward and crouching short especially, too cool.
Ash Crimson: Same reasons as Remy really.
Vega: He is my actual father.
Ky Kiske: What a guy, been playing Guilty Gear longer than any other fighting game, had to mention him out of respect or something.
Other characters I don’t play as much (or yet) but still have love for.
Freeman, Venom, Ibuki, I-no, Iori, Benimaru
Hakumen. Cyborg Samurai from the future. Yells out “Scooby Dooby Doo!” When he tech recovers in the air. Has a big fucking sword.
Also because he’s straight forward, his execution requirements are low (probably the least technical character I’ve ever played), and has a strong emphasis on fundamentals. Because of the mechanics of his pokes, he’s probably one of the few characters in Blazblue with an Actual Footsie game (He can get a meterless combo off a counter hit 3.C sweep.)
Also, all of his special moves can cancel into each other, but they all require a certain amount of meter (in Hakumen’s case, stars, or ‘magatama’) This is fucking badass.
Rugal and Bison they are just old school badass nothing of these new school god like or freak bosses.
very tough question but i guess its yamazaki from kof2k2
It’s a tough call, but even though I don’t play '98 nearly as much as I should, I think I’m gonna go with KOF '98 Ralf.
He’s manly as fuck, drunk as fuck (not Chin drunk but still toasted enough to beat a ninja’s ass for the fun of it), and his punches explode. He’s got CvS2 Ryu mobility with CvS2 Sagat pokes. His offense and defense are lovably simple and stupid, and usually revolve around finding every conceivable time and place at which to press C. (A if you’re vertical jumping.) And once they’re sick of C, you throw in a backbreaker somewhere.
His combos are the best kind of dirt stupid – since most of Ralf’s other specials suck in '98 (although Ralf Kick is kinda decent), there’s only one real move to combo into, and that’s his backbreaker. Hit a jumping C, close C xx backbreaker combo in MAX mode and watch your opponent’s life vanish for hardly any work at all.
His fighting style is simple and manly as hell – no fancy flying kicks, no energy waves, just a shitton of hard-hitting American punches – that explode. He perfectly captures the swagger of '80s-early’90s action-movie grunts, the kind who sweet-talk their guns and offer insight into all manner of foreign prostitutes until the alien/Predator/whatever jumps out and eats them. But not Ralf. He’d just punch its face clean off and use its eye sockets as a bottle opener. (Assuming he didn’t already just bite off the cap.) He is a character you can play not only without shame, but with PRIDE. Ralf is so much cooler than whatever metrosexual semi-Shoto in a dumb jacket you’re playing in KOF that it’s not even funny. (Except Robert, because he’s rich.) Real talk.
Second favorite, I guess, would be KOF '98 Mai. CvS2 Mai is good too, but nothing beats '98 Mai for me and her awesome run and jump speed. She’s kinda like Vega with boobs and a fireball. And that kimono winpose (the one with the big fan flourish) is all kinds of awesome.
IF SSF4 Vega is notably better than SF4 Vega, he might take over second place. I totally do not care that Vega’s low tier in SF4, he’s awesome. That EX walldive juggle is too pimp, and his fat-character combos too fun. Close fierce, low strong xx EX walldive for the win.
Um, isnt Vega considered a metrosexual too?
Zappa is my all-time favorite, his design is insanely cool. A character that mixes up his opponents and himself, lol.
Carl is my second favorite. Apart from the discovered infinite that completely changed how he was supposed to be played, he was a really well-designed take on dual character styles… at least it really shines in CS.
My faverite character in fighitng games is hadouken
But my all time faverite character from video games is Sonic The Hegehog

The Boxer Balrog
I’m a HUGE fan of the Rocky movies so when it came time to pick a character the boxer was an obvious choice. He doesn’t fight much like a boxer, but more like a big motherfucker with gloves on. His anti air special isn’t an uppercut, like you would expect from a man who fights with only his fists, he just sorta jumps at you. His ST throw loop is hilariously powerful to this day, just snatches you up and hits your head with his 20 times because he doesn’t give a fuck.
That’s an extremely hard question but I’ll try.
I’ve had a lot of fun with Yoriko from the Arcana Heart game. That pentagram power up just owns. She has immense range as well. It’s just crazy. Also, the animations of her not wanting to fight are much better than Dizzy’s from GG.
Speaking of GG, my favorite character is definitely Johnny. An interesting character that is often considered low-tier. He has extremely strong/fun combos. To me he’s great for mix-ups/range/power regardless of tier level.
Vega is…not really metrosexual. He is rich, cultured, and possesses a refined taste for blood and himself. He doesn’t paint his nails (although they are a little long, trim them shits, son), he’s ripped as fuck, has a bitchin’ tattoo, and cage-fights at what appears to be a theme restaurant. Vega is a true gentleman, although Dudley still probably has a nicer car. But he’s not a metrosexual.
You need a certain threshhold of fashion fixation in addition to an obsessive concern for one’s hair and complexion unbefitting a heterosexual man in order to be properly metro. Vega is a sharp dresser, that much is certain, but his taste in clothing seems to be on the conservative-aristocratic side, at least aside from his matador tights, which as his ring costume, he’s entitled to. When he really wants to look sharp, tails on his tuxedo jacket are about as wild as he gets.
Vega also lacks the predilection for the fashionable social scene that metrosexuality requires. He throws fancy parties, sure, but they too are on the conservative-aristocratic side. Vega’s not really the clubbing sort, unless he’s going to one of Balrog’s clubs just to remember how ugly most people are compared to him. And most importantly, Vega likes being pretty, but he doesn’t give a shit what other people think. He doesn’t dress or act to impress anyone but himself.
Mostly I’m just trying to rip on the crazy Falcoon fashions and the dumb Japanese youth fashions that people (character designers and fans alike) love so much in KOF, with the feathered hair and the jackets and the like. I admire Ralf’s fashion sense because it’s so much on the opposite pole from that sphere of fashion. Jeans, T-shirt, flak jacket, gloves, boots, Rambo bandana, run up to a guy and punch him in the face until he doesn’t get back up. Let little girls like Ash paint their nails all they like, the best manicure in the world won’t save them from Ralf’s manly fists.
Need i say more?
Also, Justice from GG and Arakune from BB. Seriously Arakune is my second favorite after Warachia, he’s got so much concept behind his story…and has an awesome voice.

Dudley his style is so refined it borders on being shoto like. Fighting with him is so much fun because he has a very accurate and modern take on Boxing not to mention he is influenced by Evander Holyfield, and Ippo. He is pretty much one of the best characters in videogaming .
blue mary because of her cute voice, cool moves, and huge titties
Iori and K’! They’re the reasons I got into KOF and SNK games. I love their fighting styles and their attitudes.
Zangief because he was the first character I fully learned to use, and that it feels insanely rewarding to win against one of his worser matchups, like Guile or Dhalsim.
Heidern and BB Hood tied for second because they’re charge characters that aren’t annoying to use.
