NGBC my vote goes to JeRon, know I have never seen this other guy from the East Coast play, but I guess if he can beat JeRon then his #1 cause JeRon has that shit down. I think Dark Geese is up there he just needs to stop CHOCKING.

The national tournament of SC3 had more than half the people not show up. It doesn’t have the same meaning. Never once did I say Omega Mitsurugi isn’t a solid ass player. You probably missed the mick and tx part not being there. Hell not just TX, MANY other great qualifiers skipped out on it. Unfortuanatley that means he isn’t. He never beat mick, rtd, south tx, some cali players and other players. When more than HALF of a national tourney skips out, there is no undisputed facts, this isn’t just sc, this is any tourney.

This is again what I’m talking about. I’ll reiterate: he played a COUPLE of good players in TX, he did not beat EVERYBODY. He did not beat/play me, nor agustin, nor blaze nor anybody else for that matter. Even HE is not saying he beat everybody in TX, it’s amazing how you just jump on his nuts because he beat some good players. Omega does not live in the USA, therefore he does not count as per the topic rquirement. Going by said logic then for nearly every game that listed someone we could just put the japanese/koreans/DR/ etc…
The best players of the US on each game … are the US players that got top places of the official game line-up at EVO 2006.

unlike the dominican republic, not everyone can just hop on their donkey and get to nationals in 30 mins or less, so not all the best people get to go.

Naw, I bet my boy Slips would rip him a new one. In both tekkens, especially DR. Not saying Crow isn’t hella solid. But in both tournies Evo2k5 and 2k6, some U.S.'s best were abcent. Nobody really wants to play T5 at tournies anymore after playing the geniusly tweaked T5:DR. Ts6 was a texas tournie btw. If you want to get real braging rights you have to bring it outside of your local and play at Evo. So he can’t be said to be the best at DR.
Too bad Shaun a.k.a UNCONKABLE has moved to Japan, so U.S. can’t claim him now. But he was one of America’s tops for some time in tekken also. Recently before he moved from Japan he was absent from the tournie seens, so people were spared his wrath.
I don’t expect SRK to know a whole lot about the tekken seen being mostly a 2D thing, but Crow does hold the evo tittle for now. But “best in the U.S.” me thinkz not! I would credit InsaneLee, before I do that.
Also I’m suprised no one has mentioned A.K.A? The guy is pure skill. I’ve sat in practice mode with him occassionaly, and the guy is a wiz. And his performance on the GXX seen is fuckin killer.
marvel super heroes and mvc1 my vote would be for spider dan. his red venom in mvc1 made some noise back in the day and his spider man in msh is pretty nasty.
Well, the people who do keep up w/the tekken scene, dating back from ttt, nobody is gonna say for sure slips will rip crow a new one, that’s mighty strong words there. And SRK knows enough about tekken, well the good players, to look at a statement like “best in us for now” as a silly statement w/out proof. Crow won evo, twice. First year beating MDJ (MDJ beat Insanelee the year before). Then this year he wins w/a clean sweep. Insanelee is awesome, but in 5.0, crow won the championship twice. The people that wanted to compete for 5.0 had 2 years to do it, not just 1 event. Many tourneys were crow in either finals or he won. Don’t forget TiT last year where Jinmaster came down and got beat, by Crow in DR. Maybe in DR, nobody knows who’s the best but 5.0 is undisputed. Slips, Crow, JOP, EP, Tom, Electrical Steve, and a few others were top at TTT, but you can’t Slips will definately own Crow. As good as slips is, he got randomized by some fernando guy or somethign in the last major cali tourney. TTT was slips’s best era period, and that’s highly respectable. Well, I guess your opinion is your own I suppose
