Oh so close, using this combo I can get 481k with just Trish:
j.:h: :d::h:, s.:h: c.:h::s:, sj.
:d::h: :qcb: :l:,
:h: s.:h: c.:h::s:, sj.

Move Ghost Rider up to Solid, his damage is actually noticeable and basic BnB drops Nemesis down to 4/10 or at least 1/2 health. I think Shuma Gorath does low damage in short combos but I guess in an extended very long combo he can do some solid damage.
A nemesis combo is considered bad for me if it does anything under 550k.
So with assists you could break 500k without the shot loops? I know the shot loops are pretty tight on the execution and it was rare to see even tournament Dantes go for them outside of maybe Richard N. Are the shot loops harder, easier, same in Ultimate?
Pretty much. Shot loops weren’t honestly that hard in Vanilla. It’s just there was no reason ever to do them because all his other herp derp shit killed for a lot less effort.
In Ultimate they’re a lot harder, but still a lot easier than some of the high execution shit. It’s just timing.
500k without shot loops is actually assistless. I swear no one watches my videos.

First combo is 500k assistless before the super. You don’t even need the fancy Sky Dance>Acid rain to break 500k.
Good assist extenders on average add like a 50k increase so it’s not that big of an improvement
Using basic shot loops, breaking 550k assistless is pretty easy.

Didn’t even extend the first combo as much as I could with Shot>Stinger>More Damage, just to keep it basic
I can’t play right now to check , but RR seemed to have low damage, but I don’t know if any of the loops like boulder loop change that.
Edit: Sorry I just seen now that RR is on the list already. My apologies.
Shuma can get to 420k before doing a super most of the time (no assists) With an assist his damage ends up like in the 480k - 500k range.
Pro tip. Cut out Shuma’s Meds during combos. Stick to Cr.L and Cr.B
Simple 420k Combo (assistless)
Cr.L -> Cr.H (jump cancel) -> Jumping Med -> Jumping Heavy (x2) -> Launcher -> jumping med -> Air Mystic Smash H -> Land -> Standing Med -> Standard YYB -> Jumping Special.
What combos are you doing with strider that are doing 550K before hyper? That’s around the amount he does WITH hyper.
maybe silly suggestion, but at rawest form to see who literally hits the hardest sans supers why not set it at literally the most basic thing every character can do and record the damage of LMHS MMHS.
not many would hit those high level of damage of say 450K but it literally would show you who hits the hardest.
because if you use the argument, the execution of most things isn’t too high just spend more time in training mode, then if im not mistaken, every character has something that’s 450 k without meter. some have to reinvent the wheel, and some just do the above.
Asking who does the most damage with LMHS, MMHS is power level stuff. Big characters like Hulk and Thor have the most power.
Ghost Rider H H DP+L, H H qcb L qcf L does somewhere in the 420 to 450 range I think (don’t have the game to verify). Off a a sweep it does less, but you can input dash forward, S M M S qcf L instead of going into the qcb L to do about…480 I think?
I’ll attempt to test later but I believe he fits in the solid range.
Phoenix Wright actually does solid damage in both Investigation and Trial Mode (with an OTG assist for Investigation Mode, at least).
He’s obviously hits like a truck in Turnabout Mode.
“HALF ASSED” Strider combos. No assists during any of the combos.

I guess you can count Morri on the solid damage list. One of her corner BnBs which doesn’t require desk like hands (it’s a bit advanced though, it isn’t day abc into magic) can do about 472k. I’ve been trying to get x-23 onto the truck tier list (without using MFC stuff) but it always ends up barely under 500k
This looks harder than LMHS MMHS
If you get the right combo, Skrull can reach 500K before using a hyper.
Strange has way easier BnBs than this, and it does 450k-525k depending on how you land it.
Stop lying my bnb does 450k on the spot with out meter and i have poor execution -_-
Hmmmm.
Ghost Rider’s “standard” BnB does anywhere from 400-480 before meter depending on what you started it with and how close to the corner you are.
For level 1 frank west I was doing anywhere between 407-490 midscreen depending on what you start with ( cr., cr.:h:, or zombie capture ), whether the character was the right size for :l: tools combos after the relaunch, and whether the combo ended in camera or :h: tools. Didn’t fully explore, but with air
tools I’m pretty sure you can get more in the corner.
This was only after ~15 minutes in the lab though ( well, more than 15 minutes of me flubbing execution, but only about 15 minutes worth of theory ), so there’s probably a lot more than what I did. Assistless in both cases.
Then I guess I just suck. Whats your BnB? I find most of Joe’s more damaging BnBs are a little too impractical for play OR they are character specific.
It has to be without assists too
