I don’t know if this has been asked, but how often do you wash your hair, and how long does it take before it starts smelling foul?
I think pompously coming into otherwise lighthearted threads with a small chip on one’s shoulder, and asking pedantic questions, is probably a white thing.
I wash it every night and I’ve never let it get to a point where it smells bad. I just hate how it feels after a couple of days unwashed.

…i dont drink much soda, but when I do its usually root beer. I do enjoy Mountain Dew though, and only get coke when I have whiskey. And yeah, always got alcohol though.

Daily wash, sometimes every other day wash with daily rinse. Never more than 2 days without washing.
Also, I love mountain dew.

Its good to allow some natural oil saturate the scalp but not to the point of itching, then its just gross.
As far as smelling I think it’s around the one week mark, pretty sure most of is went to school with at least 1 or 2 kids that you could tell did not bathe regular.

Well flesh but that’s kinda a misnomer.
For me it’s a transition from beige.to cream depending I what has gotten sun recently.
For the average black guy, how long can you go in exposed sunlight without burning?
I know personally, even an hour of Vegas sun can burn my white ass searing red.

All day. I’ve never worn suntblock. I was born in, and spent the first 6 years of my life in Vegas. Played outside, and have never had a sunburn. I even spent 2 months of my life doing manual labor in during the summer in the Arizona mountains.
