yeah some form of conversation in the rolento thread would be nice.
Cody/Poison from day 1 I been on this site, I dunno how it’ll work but worse comes to worse and cody is odd man out I may Leo because I use her to great success in tekken 6 and leo would likely hit hard if put in. Cody first choice tho.
Others ideas…Poison/Hwo, Jin, Julia, paul,steve.
Poison/Alex would also be a dream come true but it seems more likely ill get cody. One that worries me is I have not played a build of this in a while and it seems poison has changed a bunch since then, so to her plan of attack.

Regardless of gender, I’m more interested in knowing how much damage can Poison deal. Her Super damage seems pretty low. Does it goes in full animation from a juggle?
sigh for one, the super only does low damage because most of the time you seen it hit was from a crossrush(and crossrush scales the damage very high)
secondly it depends…
if you hit an opponent with it in point blank range(anti air or not) it will connect. if they are in a juggled state around 2-3 characters length from Poison, it will go into full animation. anything else it will wiff…the projectle easily loses to some EX porjectiles and Poison is very punishable if blocked…

That makes sense. I’m guessing the damage would also be somewhat lower in scramble mode. No excuse for not reading the whole thread though, scanned through the first few pages and stopped reading when the comments started talking about gender.
well, its ok…i don’t really blame you too much…but still~ Poison is a fun fucking character from what little i played of her at PAX~ me and a few others like Jamp have been nit picking info here and there so you can ask us if you have a question relating to poison…that isnt about the gender issue…i’ll be willing to help.
That’s fine. Have a question about Poison’s rekkas since I haven’t exactly seen people pulling it off often. All I’ve heard is that the startup is a little slow and quite unsafe. What is the distance of Poison’s rekkas like? Fei long far, Yang short or somewhere in between? Is it advisable to whiff it out occasionally as a dash/poke/hitconfirm?
she dont go that far…but her normals do…so it compensates for her rekkas not going far as her normals make it kinda easy to hit confirm into them. sorry i was on 8wayrun.com…
also i wouldnt advise using it as is…as its punishable…better to zone with her fireballs or other shenanigans.
I wouldn’t advise people not to use it just yet. It’s been quite some time since you’ve played it, and in the recent Korean videos we don’t even know which version of the rekkas she was using. It’s quite possible that the LP version would be considerably safer than the HP one.
so guessing it would be best to start Hugo first and then tag in poison later?

If poison has any move that causes an extra amount of hitstun on counterhit without knocking the opponent down, Try cancelling that to EX AE, then instantly dash out of it, and try using that normal again and see if it has the same effect as the first CH. If you can loop a bunch of counterhit heavys together like that, you could get A LOT of damage out of it.
I might make a thread for all norcal questions so for who ever gets to demo at norcal can get answers for people.
I love how the Poison thread feels the need to show mercy on all the lesser threads. It’s funny.
For every person who is wierded out by her gender, I have seen enough lovely cosplaying ladies in daisy dukes and high heels that give me enough reason not to care. Oh, and there’s that whole “fun gameplay” thing, I guess.
Neat! Be sure to check out those rekkas. You guys have got me curious about their changes, and I doubt they wouldn’t have some kind of use in combos.
