Is Poison a Zoning character or more rush-down basic? I have a few teams that I will like to experiment on. Her and Juri or Cammy still thinking, plus game hasn’t come out yet too.

Pretty much. She’s basically a shoto, you can either zone people out and play footsies or go on the offensive.
Well, Im most likely going to the fightclub tonight. I’ll Test if her Whip of Love is safe(in general) then when strength is the safest. If I find out anything else, I’ll post it up. I’ll try to have a few matches Recorded as well if my friend comes along, if not then I’ll just post what i learned.
I been so busy with SCV and on 8way to keep up with this thread. But I had a feeling capcom were gonna try and make poison play like a girl vega with fireballs and even with all these different versions of her I have seen the things that has changed the least are her zoning and footies abilities.
One build it looked like she might have a little rushdown but now she seems back to basics. Wonder if she has any better up close game in the latest build.
The current build seems close to what the final build is going to be, so anything i figure out today may stay in the final version…i mean this build actually has game modes >_>’
anyways at the end of the day, the character plays however you want them to…I believe Cody should never turtle…but thats just me…Rocks all day.
Oh, when did they change the animation for her cl.MP?
It was identical to Chun’s when she was revealed and watching the footage of the newest build they gave her a brand new animation.

Nice. I was at Fight Club NYC awhile back, and I really thought that Poison was a zoning basic character because of her tools. But, she mixed of zoning and offensive.
-_-’ like Reason4U, i distaste the idea of her being a “zoning” heavy character…just because she has a fucking fireball. Does the same logic apply to Raven too? as he has a projectile…
with that aside, I think there is more to it then that, but it requires more testing.
I’m going to have to give poison some serious consideration in this game. It’s either her or chun-li.
So is poison’s fireball floaty enough to give her frame advantage if someone wakes up and blocks it? Like Sakura’s fireball trap in the corner.
