convex aka Japanese style
I have a dedicated Tekken Tag machine, and a SEGA boardmaster supergun.
Thats probably all there is in Yakima.
Oh wait, there’s “Meadowbrook Family Fun Center” which used to have MvC 1, and MK 3. Now they have all ticket games… ]
man, I wish Fun-N-Games was still in Columbia Center.
Spokane Tilt ftw!
MvC2
dude, that machine has garbage buttons. The only worse machine I’ve seen is at SFCC. i did manage to play some people there a few times randomly.
Haha, that theater is so bizarre. I remember when they bought a new Metal Slug 6 machine and it was gone after a month.
Btw what games are you into? I’m originally from that area. A few of my friends are stranded down there with no competition.
No way there’s people that play Street Fighter where I live? Fuck yes!
Anyway I play the majority of Street Fighter games, King of Fighters, and Tekken. The only game that I can hold my own in is Super Turbo, haha.
I dunno if Salem Wunderland can really be classified as an Arcade to play at anymore.
From what I’ve heard from a lot of my friends who have gone there, they took out all of the good games and instead replaced them with ticket games.
Which absolutely blows because playing DDR for 20 cents was just freaking awesome
Hey, I’m from Bend and I play SFIV.
Just wanted to say that South Hill mall no longer has CvS2 or MvC2. They do have 3S and melty blood though. (along with randoms like SvC, XvsSF, SC3, Virtual On etc)
Updated, thanks.
Tekk-On 6 @Gameworks now! This is old news but, it’s a game that I would like more people to mess abound with fa sho! JAKE 6 for now. Three rounds for a dollar…are you nutz? That’s the best thing since Mad Axes in Tekken Tag. That’s a joke btw for all you nubbers…
Blazblue at ACME Bowl in Tukwilla.
What else is at ACME Bowl?
Took down Sunset Bowl since they got destroyed.
Tekken 5, racing games, poppin beats. That’s about all I remember.
I’m headed over to ACME this Fri so I can get a definitive list then.
Edit: I went to ACME all they had was Blazblue and SC3. Also went to narrows and I could no longer find NBC or SC2. They still had the others though.
Are there any groups that go to these places on a regular basis? I probably could convince the owner to put in newer stuff, if he knew that people would play the games.
Does Funtasia have working MvC2 sticks? Is there working AC? If so, I’m seriously considering parking my fat ass there between the hours of noon and 5PM till this heat wave passes. If someone could suggest an alternative venue with MvC2, AC, and easy/free parking in North Seattle, I’m all ears.
I’d hit up Kenmore Lanes, but they only had MvSF when I was last there over a decade ago. And it was behind the times even for '98. Plus, rednecks make me uncomfortable.
Where ya’ll be playin DDR at??? :lovin:
Haha. When I used to play DDR/ITG, I would go to Acme Bowl in Tukwila and Narrows in Tacoma. Acme Bowl used to also have Beatmania IIDX but now it’s Pop’n Music. Gameworks actually has a lot of Bemani games, but i’m assuming you’ve tired there? If not, check it out, they have the latest DDR (i know it has to be the latest because they are charging $2 for it… jesus), Extreme, and Supernova.
I doubt anyone here cares (hell, I don’t even care ahaha), but the Silver Coin at Kitsap Mall in Silverdale has closed down. Dunno if the Burlington location shared the same fate, but yeah, the arcade that I once called my home turf has closed down. RIP Silver Coin. We miss you.
Yo Preppy are you going to season’s beatings 4 this year? if you are you think i can room with you?
