Where did all the feminist/hipsters come from?

If that vid is serious I’m quitting the Internet and leaving the planet…

Oh god, I’m fucking dying over here!!!

My nigga took it to baseball in the end. That shit was fucking hilarious. Niggas are not allowed to throw a baseball if the women is batting anymore.

This article highlights why feminist thinking will always lead to terribly written stories and characters. In the eyes of this woman, female characters who are "strong"are merely strong as lip service to remind the audience that she isn’t weak…alluding to some predisposed sexism agaisnt women from the viewers I suppose. Now to a certain extent I can agree that this attempt at making"strong"women is largely a effort to appease the concerns of the audience but not in the context of removing their sexist predispositions but rather to satisfy the irrationality of gender idealogues. If this women is truly resentful of this simplistic narrative and the clumsy attempts to reassure people that women can be strong…then perhaps her efforts would best be spent against people like Anita or other feminist advocates who believe we need more and more "strong"women in fiction. I said before in the last page that the constant reminders of a woman’s strength comes off as a desperate appeal for approval…however what this author fails to grasp is that this "trope"only came about due to the obnoxious insistence from feminist who demanded"strong"female counterparts to male characters.

Furthermore while she does make a good point in encouraging more diverse characterizations for female characters or at the very least a better appreciation for different kinds of female characters…she is far to ready to divorce away from existing female characters who already meet her criteria by virtue that they still adhere to certain principles or qualities which she considers retroactive. Princess peach for example is a female character who is noble, elegant and a powerful monarch ruler without relying on the "strong"archetype to convey this…yet she would still be denounced as a good example because she is a princess and in need of constant rescue. It therefore stands to reason that much like Anita, her ideas become entangled and eventually contorted by its own inconsistent logic. To put it simply, to be a good female character you can’t just be strong…you have to be diverse but only In certain ways that avoid stereotypes and that don’t come off like your just trying to be 1 of the boys…throw in the amount of things a female character can’t be allowed to be according to this author and what you get is 1 giant cluster fuck of a holy shit.

The worst part in all of this though is this women’s fanatical obsession in complete gender parity for the sake of equality. No joke…she makes the very strong implication that captain America should have included more female soilders due to nothing more then her strong personal desire for a 1:1 gender ratio. She tries to excuse this stupidity with some poorly used historical example about women serving in WW2 (even when none of said women were either foot soilders or in the front lines) but what really got me is how she wished the doc who worked on the serum was a woman or if the movie made more of a effort to gender switch the characters…in other words she would be willing to circumvent the plot, logic, realism and context just as long as more vaginas get screen time. I dont know about you guys but wanting more women on screen simply because they are women kind of sounds a bit sexist and surpremcist sounding to me…just imagine that sentiment in a racial context and just try to tell me it doesnt sound bigoted. All that hilarity aside though, the unfortunate thing about this article is that even though the author does make a few astute observations and even questions some misandric double standards regarding how women are allowed to behave…It’s like she could see the BS but just decided to passingly remark on it and dismiss it as a "mra"thing cause obviously the misandry endemic to this concept has no significance to why this irritable trope exist in the first place.

Anyways when looking through all her points and arguments…it really just comes down to another case of impossible expectations with no realistic solutions. What this women wants is so contradictory and baffling to all things reasonable and rational that I’m amazed she could get through typing it all without a knee jerk "lol"at every other line due to how profoudingly silly and stupid her points really are. It just amazes me how even when feminist are given what they want in the form of strong female characters…it still isn’t enough cause we don’t have enough female sherlocks or hamlets O_0

The easiest way to deal with bitches like that is to find them and proceed to slam your fists into their face. All intellectual arguments for the basis of equality quickly dissolve rather quickly. The world is not a fair place, sometimes the best and most amusing way to demonstrate it is to beat a bitch half to death.

That just gives them more fuel for their “Men are bad” fire. The best course of action is to not take them seriously and laugh at the stupid shit them and Manginas say. You’ll only give yourself a headache trying to use logic with them.

Well shit am not really in favour of physically abusing them all, its just that you could view this militant feminist attitude as a form of unreasonable extremism, and guys have been playing that card for 6000 years now. Bitches better get over their sense of entitlement and tow the line because salty dudes DO throw uppercuts.

THEY GOIN TO JAIL NA!! THEY GOIN TO JAIL NA!!!

Not all feminists are like that…

^Someone linked that earlier in the thread.

yeah that part in her video bothered me so much. That topic right there could’ve been explored deeper and it would’ve been been interesting to see her views on women in fighting games. Anita doesn’t know how to make a good arguments at all.

Anita has never had anything worth while to say so I doubt her observation on females in fighting game would have been anything more then just strawman and cherry picking…I wouldn’t be surprised if she considers chun li a rape apologetist because of how she dresses lol.

Fighting games is the genre with the most T&A fan service out there, because it’s also the genre with the most female playable characters. Videogames cost millions to make and sex sells so that’s what you get. If nitpicking on boobies is all she can do then she’ll have material for 20 episodes.

^^ Wasn’t sure how to judge that vid one way or the other, until that last one. WTF?

I guess female characters also aren’t allowed to ever use swords in any game also. Swords are evidently sexist and a symbolic representation of “male” power that she must take hold of or some bs.

Arcana Heart is the most empowering game for women because it’s obvious all the women/girls simply killed all men on Earth. Every single girl in that game is strong as fuck and could kick a man’s ass IRL.

There’s a video from Anita called “too many dicks on the dance floor” where she makes the argument in her description that guns, swords and chainsaws are essentially penises thus anyone using something long and pointy is wielding penis power.

No joke but feminist have actually complained about tall buildings cause they are to"phalic".

Anita seems like the person that…
-Plays Guilty Gear and complains that Dizzy has the lowest health value in the game
-Plays Street Fighter and complains about the prevalence of characters that cannot punch like a man and must kick to compensate (Juri, Chun)
-Plays Tekken and complains that all the Mishimas are male
-Plays Darkstalkers and complains about Morrigan having sexualized undertones

Yes it’s make round buildings shaped like boobs. Clearly a better, far more efficient alternative.

Actually, I rarely post in political discussions, but I wanted to let you know that there have been an experiment, PR one but still, in the NHL. During a pre-season game, the Tampa Bay Lightnings was allowed to use a female goaltender called Manon Rhéaume. This was a PR-trick when the Florida franchise was just starting up. She did fairly well, even if it was not a true NHL-game, she signed for a try out and played a few games and didn’t look that bad.

Does this mean that women, with the right training, can play with men? I don’t know. I think it’s the approach to the sport that matters - women aren’t supposed to “do everything to win”, like men are IMO.
