When is the next STREET FIGHTER or CAPCOM related comic coming out?

Street Fighter Legends: The Ultimate Edition

New book coming out! I’m guessing they’re releasing these anthologies to make money to further produce more content! I hope so…because the legends series was only 3 mini-series of comics.

Street Fighter IV & Super Street Fighter IV: Official Complete Works from Udon coming in July.

Glad to see this is being translated and heading state side.

Ian Flynn Rocks “Mega Man” - Comic Book Resources

I’m sure most of you don’t need me to tell you this but just in case. There will be a short Marvel vs. Capcom 3 comic book that will be included if you pre-order the special edition of the game! MvC3 comes out Tuesday! :clapdos:

No Street Fighter comic has been out for ages, which leads me to believe that UDON is helping Capcom work on 3rd Strike with new art.

To be honest, I’m not happy with that. 3S is my main and favorite game, and all I want is for Capcom to have it completely unchanged with good net play.

Mega Man Battle Network Official Complete Works hits comic book stores next week! :cybot:

The Mega Man Network ? Have Questions About Archie?s Mega Man Comic? Send Them Our Way!

I asked if Time Man and Oil Man from Mega Man Powered Up will be included in the comic. Not that it’s a big deal, but it would be interesting if they showed up.

Looks like Tokyopop is closing its doors. I hope someone finishes translating the Fate / Stay Night manga. I guess there’s no chance of them translating the Devil May Cry 4 novels now but since that hasn’t happened yet it’s doubtful that was ever going to happen. Sad day.

A Sad Farewell to Manga Giant: Tokyopop - South Bend Japanese Culture | Examiner.com

On the bright side the Mega Man comic should be coming in May and I’ll have a reason to bump this again pretty soon if all goes.

Sano, the Megaman comic will be written by Ian Flynn who has been writing the Sonic comic for the past 5 years and his work on it is great IMO. Mind you the Sonic comic had A LOT of characters and yet he managed to utilize them very well giving each character some good spotlight.
If anything, the Megaman comic will slowly introduce characters but if Megaman faces or teams up with other Robots I’m sure Time and Oil man will both appear, can’t see why they wouldn’t.

Oh and Tokyopop closing is old news bro, why you slow?

BTW, what’s the word on UDON’s SF comic? It’s a been long time since they released anything >=/

I have no idea what Udon is up to, SF comics wise. Akuma graphic novel at some point is all I know.

Mega Man #1 comes out next week! :cybot:

Chiming in to say I LOVED the first issue of Mega Man! :woot:

There were lots of things I dug like Mega Man changing colors when he uses different powers which he oddly never did in the American cartoon or the previous comic. While it seems to be based on the first game there are lots of things sprinkled in like some of the robots from Battle & Chase and several hints with regards to Proto Man’s creation.

Didn’t seem to touch a lot of Mega Man Powered Up territory so no Oil Man or Time Man for now, but they did keep Wily announcing on the news that he’s attempting to take over, much like that game heh.

Ah and they kept the first game taking place during 200X too, and didn’t upgrade to 20XX like Powered Up and at least the English translation of the Mega Mix manga did. HELL YEAH THAT JOINT ALREADY HAPPENED! Were’s my own personal robot though? :looney:

Oh and hey guess what? There’s a VERY SNEAKY Street Fighter cameo!

SF Cameo in MM

Spoiler

If you played Mega Man 9 you know that Chun-Li shows up as a reporter in that game. Well there is a reporter here who looks a little like Chun-Li, but her hair is nothing like Chun-Li’s. Her shirt is blue and yellow if it matters. Anyway, when they turn into her news report it starts off with her saying “…Li” indicating that they just missed it when she said the first part of her name! Like I said her hair is different, more in line with what you’d see in either the Mega Man or Battle Network series. But hey there’s a number of years that pass between MM1 and MM9 anyways. :clapdos:

Several touches too, like Mega Man lifting a boulder at the front of Wily’s castle after excaping the two Big Eye bots. Reminded me of how you actually could lift boxes in that stage, but didn’t have to. And since the first game never really fully illustrated Skull Castle in-game they went with the design of the one from Mega Man 2. Nice choice!

Anyway it’s really great and I’m loving how they are reinterpreting this world. The artwork and coloring was amazing too.

Glad to have at least ONE Capcom comic on the racks now. Udon where yo’ at?

Yeah Megaman #1 was fantastic, Ian does it again

Volume 1 of the Mega Man Gigamix manga hits comic book stores next week!

Mega Man issue #2 comes out next week! Since we still don’t have the cybot smile back I’m going to have to go with a thumbs up for now.
