Kind of a difficult question but you should maybe check out the first volume since it had the big Ryu and Ken vs. Akuma fight. Check comic book shops, bookstores or libraries near you to see if they have it so you can check it out.
Studio Udon also has lots of Street Fighter artwork on their Deviant Art Page that you may want to use as well.

The story was printed in a Newtype USA Magazine originally, not in a comic. I believe it’s reprinted in SF Vol. 4 but I’m not certain. I’ll go home and check when I can.

Unfortunately I’m not able to find out at the moment because I thought I had the SF volumes in my short boxes but they are in my long boxes which means I’d have to do a ton of heavy lifting and searching to find the book - I have LOTS of comics. I generally don’t go through them until I organize my comics, about twice a year and that takes about 2 whole days to go through. It would take me a really long time.
So as of right now I’m not certain if that story is in volume 4. I’ve dug around online but I’m not able to confirm if the story is in there or not.
I know for a fact the story is in the Newtype November 2003 issue and the now hard to find SF Ultimate Edition book. For a while Udon hosted the pages for that comic online IIRC but I can’t seem to find that either.
So for now if anyone does have SF Vol. IV and you can answer the question for FADC please do so.
If I happen to see volume IV in stores I’ll look through it.
I’m going to try to contact Erik Ko or Matt Moylan to see if they can answer.

LOL got off my lazy ass and moved a bunch of boxes to find my SF volumes! 
I’ll keep them close by from now in case a question like this ever comes up again. Anyway, the Cammy vs. Deejay story is in volume 2 actually.

so are these SF vol the same comics as the ones that used to come out like every month? if they are the same do they have lots more back-up/extras in them?

They are the same as the comics only the order is different. Like every comic would come with a back up story. Volumes 1 - 3 have like 1 back up story a piece and vol. 4 has the rest of the back up stories. None of the books really contain any extras but if you read all 4 it’s pretty much the same thing as reading all of the comics. Except for SF2 Turbo and SF4 which haven’t been collected yet. There’s a TPB for SF Legends Sakura too. SF Legends Chun-Li is still ongoing so that hasn’t been collected either.

The SF3 comic won’t be out until 2010. It’s coming after SF2 Turbo wraps, and that has 5 more issues to go. There will be 2 more SF3 back up stories in SF2 Turbo though.
Why? I thought Udon said SF3 would come after SF4 wraps up. It doesn’t make sense to wait until Turbo is over unless Chamba is going to be the artist.
The schedule was layed out in SF2 Turbo #7. I posted it here some time ago.

AFAIK Joe NG is supposed to be the artist on SF3.
Chamba was actually hired for Darkstalkers originally, but with Alvin Lee’s departure he took up SF2 Turbo. Not saying Udon will start up Darkstalkers again under Chamba because I just don’t know. It is a possibility.
SF4 only has one issue left to go so by the time SF2 Turbo finishes both Joe NG and Chamba will be free. Joe NG does do back up stories in SF2 Turbo, sometimes and we still don’t know what the back up stories for the last 3 issues of SF2T will be or if they will even have them.
I guess ‘if’ they start up a Final Fight comic then that will be the other book in rotation. Another SFL series probably isn’t out of the question. Who knows. For all we know SF3 might be the only Capcom related comic book Udon puts out next year.
And Omar Dogan will be free too 'cuz ----

can someone give me the name of the comic/promo where cammy captures deejay in jamaica? its part of the Udon series and from what i remember is around 4 pages long. Any ideas?
We talked about this A PAGE AGO on this thread. Recap, it’s in the November 2003 issue of Newtype magazine and you can also find it reprinted in SF Volume 2.
This week Udon puts out the Big Adventures of Majoko vol. 2 from their kids manga line. And also, the Silent Mobius Complete Edition vol. 1 from the great Kia Asamiya! Looking forward to that. :lovin:

In the United States comics will ship next Thursday due to the Labor Day Holiday.
Can’t wait for the SF III comics! I love Udon’s work and they have done street fighter justice! Bring on Oro, Necro, Gill, Urien, Q, Ibuki, Alex, etc.! Come on, 2010!
