Magic Super Smash Brothers Brawl Project M Blood PLUS with another Mario slot
what is project M?
FGC respects Marvel with its broken stuff (and lemme tell you the stuff that happens in MvC3 can be just as broken as Brawl from a balancing perspective) so I don’t see why a few items here or there would totally destroy the “integrity” of Smash, especially considering Nintendo already did that themselves.
I like items in smash, they keep it fresh.
another stupid smash hack project that does what every other smash hack project does
Right now there are possibly hundreds of players practicing and training up to compete in one of the biggest FG tournaments this year for a game with stupid hitboxes, random collision detection, and a character who shits on the whole cast with 5 bars and level 3 x-factor.
SRK, we take it as is.
Thanks, was curious if it was nintendo actually supporting them.
Hey gaiz. Genesis 2 anyone? I need more of Armada’s Young Link.

It’s still funny how these threads pop up every 6 months, and people get no where no matter how obvious the answer is.

I don’t understand comp. smash. I think I need to drink the kool-aide because its not impressive.
That was some godlike Young Link play. I’m a Jigglypuff main and I know I’d have lost to that kind of zoning too. That was brilliant.
Honestly, nobody really cares about what it may or may not do to the community at the moment, everybody’s focused on how fucking awesome it’s going to be.
Melee was played how it was published. People are only modding Brawl because they can.
Because it’s simply dumb. The broken stuff in MvC3 or any game for that matter isn’t totally random and arbitrary like the appearance of items in Smash.
more like it does everything they don’t do
Who’s everybody? The Smash hack community? Because as far as the rest of the world is concerned, this game does not exist, and even it they knew about it, it’s not an official release and they haven’t hacked their wii.
Also, way to ignore the second part of my post.
You can mod any game if you know how to do it. There’s a reason the FGC doesn’t hack their games; because we don’t need to.
And yet they are an intergral part of the game and are present in every Smash game. How can you hate the elements of your own game? You do know that Smash Bros is essentially Mario Bros. on crack, right? Hence the title. In that game you use items to knock your enemies off the map.
And what is that exactly? Balance the roster? Get rid of tripping? play more like Melee? It’s all been done before. The only thing this hack has done is bring back some old stages and turn all the new ones into Final Destination.
Everybody meaning the people paying attention to Project M. I’d think that would be implied.
Also, I pretty much responded to the rest of your post with the rest of my last post.
Nobody really needed to make SF4 Koryu.
The options to remove them are quite integral to the game too.
My brother, our friends, and I always enjoyed playing without items.
Show’s how much you know.
They’ve shown off things far more interesting than that.
No they haven’t same shit different name.
HaHaHaHaHaHAHAHA
I would like a link to them, I am genuinely interested to see what the smash community wasted their time for. I’m sorry guys but I don’t get why you have to blow the heck out of brawl when you have melee. I consider melee to be the pinnacle of smash, it was a fantastic game that could be played with high levels of comp or casual.
Here’s a nice little combo video for Project M. Not all of the stages and skins they have are a part of the official build as of yet though. Brawl’s a pretty open sandbox as far as custom content goes.
Here’s a little demonstration of Project M with their new take on Lucario 6 minutes in.
I mean really it’s kind of silly to just completely shun this quality work just because it’s a Brawl mod.
Yeah I gotta say it was some quality work. I suppose though that to get to that point I’d have to really really love smash. I don’t have the same level of passion for smash as I do for SF.
Not as silly as taking a Brawl mod seriously, which is what the Smash community does. They customize the game to make it how they want, and expect it to be the competitive standard.
No one is denying that they put some decent work in this mod, but it’s still a mod and can’t be taken seriously. You mentioned SF4 Koryu and how it didn’t need to be made. Notice how they are no tournaments for that game. People play it for casual fun, which is what Smash Bros. is suppose to be. This frankenstein monster of a game the Smash hack community is putting together is not the game Nintendo created. Guess Project M is an appropiate title for it cause it is not Super Smash Bros.
No, they just want to have fun with the game with other people.
If it just so happens to replace other Smash games as a competitive standard, who cares? It’s all about the fun.
The fact that it’s a mod is still a non-issue even when it comes to the people who want to play it competitively. I mean Counter Strike and Team Fortress were originally an independent mods and look at how well those took off. Being a mod doesn’t inherently make it the laughing stock of video games.
