I canāt wait to get Balrogās 9 and 10 colours without going through bloody survival. They look so sick, especially 10.
Also Iām not a huge fan of the casual costume but in colour 9 it looks pretty good, I like the fact he doesnāt have ridiculously huge gloves. So will be getting those too!
Hey as a Juri player, Iām having trouble with Balrog. For those of you that play both Juri and Balrog, can you explain how I should manage this fight? Iāve lost some games online etc.
I honestly have no idea because all the Juriās Iāve played online try and play her like SFIV Juri. The only nugget of knowledge that I have found is that Balrogās V-Skill punch is pretty good at avoiding Juriās V-Skill cross up.
Does Balrog have any good attacks to hit crouch blockers with besides his v skill kick?
That move is super unsafe, so surely heās got something safer to hit crouch blockers with?
His jumping HK is so slow and easy to read that most people will be able to stand up from a crouching block before it can hit them mid.
No he doesnāt. The best thing is to throw. He has a pretty good dash so dash throws and Dash Punches with an empty V Skill cancel into throws can work pretty good.
His jumping LK is an instant overhead when done as soon as you leave the ground, but Iām pretty sure it doesnāt hit crouching opponents though.
I think it works on Birdie and only Birdie soā¦ yeah.
Do you mean crouching or standing?
Iāve seen SMUG do it to other Balrogās a few times so maybe thatās another exception, as well as I expect Gief, Alex and F.A.N.G to be in that case.

So is cr mk x2 tc the go to for v trigger activation still?

You can also vtrigger off:
lk mk hk (any range) vtrigger light or ex dash punch
lk mk (close range will let you start combo with cr fierce, which is best damage)
mk mp vtrigger light or ex dash punch

After kkb+k (overhead) if youāre close enough for a st.mp, you can cancel that into vtrigger > cr.fp combo as well
I really like V-trigger cancelling off KKB + p, when Iāve got the opponent focused on poking and keeping me out.

For whatever reason they press buttons after seeing him twirl lol. Itās like guile vskill where you do it and hold charge, any kind of medium or heavy button I go for dash straight, st.mk etc
Does anyone know what I need to do to get Balrogās titles that has his glove not his face? Iāve grinded ranked and got his first Yellow title but the icon ones have eluded me.
I think you should be able to connect v-skill punch follow-up on hit if you cancel the first of your EX straight into it.
