I wouldn’t take prima’s guide as the be all end all. Prima guides have had tons of errors over the years. The KI guide was a joke and riddled with errors.
I’d take community frame data over the “official” prima data any day.
This is interesting. I just did some tests in training mode real fast and it looks like after a LP Dash Punch Balrog’s 4 frame st. LP beats Ken’s 4 frame st. LP clean which would indicate that it is at least +1. This would mean that the Prima guide is in fact wrong as it says LP Dash Punch is +0. This is hardly conclusive though and I am interested to see what someone else comes up with. I agree with purebeast though and would tend to believe the data miners over Prima. I’m sure this goes without saying but please don’t rely on my quick and dirty test if you are at Evo.
I feel you guys. Looking at the guide he’s in a very favorable position after a reg throw dash followup. Looking at Rogs stun, damage, super, and frame data–I think it’s clear he’s not low tier. Personally I think he’s along with Vega, SIM, Cammy and Mika worst case scenario .
I feel that is pretty accurate. His biggest problem is that his long range pokes don’t lead to anything and his best normals are so short range. But of you can get a handle on his buttons and can play defense, I think he is just fine. I do miss his headbutt reversal though.

Back from my PokemonGO hiatus, I havent played in about a week and a half what did I miss. I haven’t trained any of the max damage V-trigger extensions yet, need to do that.
Cr.MP is a surprisingly effective anti-air. And the Gief matchup is garbage.
Damn, Gief matchup is scary. To the point where I’d say it’s borderline broken.
It took a few months, but Zangief finally learned how to win a damn match up.
Lol I’d say Rog mains might want to have Nash,Vega, or Sim as alts. But Gief doesn’t seem too common so it may not be a must. I guess Guile would be good too.
