haha no he wasnt that was a good move they did. =p he needz moar ridiculousness.
I actually like how Zero’s level 3 is short. His combos are generally long so it’s kinda awesome to see him not waste time and throw out a damaging level 3 like it’s nothing.
There’s no evidence that he’s straight up better, especially as compared to the other characters.
Clone is better, but his normal airdash looks worse, and his damage output seems much lower. Not having baroque and megacrush really hurts him too.
It doesn’t appear to be hurting him that much
Cry cry cry.
Eventually getting 3 bars will be nothing at high level play. Nobody wants to take a bathroom break everytime someone busts out a Level 3.
Yall bitch about everything.
The crazy flashyness in Marvel should come from the players skill, not some hyper that anyone can do. In MvC2 the crazyness just came from all the insane shit that could be pulled off normally.
Could you imagine how un-hype it would be if team clockw0rk had to incorporate level 3 ‘ultra’ animations? Watch how fluid clock’s Strider execution is. That’s amazing to watch because he’s consistently maintaining really demanding execution to keep up the pressure. There’s no noticeable time gap in his Ourouboros, it comes out practically instant and maintains the speed and excitment of the game. You’re not gonna tell me a good Strider isn’t fun as fuck to watch? None of the characters in MVC2, hypest game ever, needed level 3’s to be interesting. You’ll get bored of a flashy animation quickly. Smooth, fast and skillful play is always interesting.
And look at SF4. It has ridiculously OT ultra moves and it’s a slow boring ass game to watch AND play. At the very least nowhere near as hype as MVC2.
What does the Smooth Criminal have to do with anything?
Guys, opinion. Plenty of people think high level MvC2 is boring and for different reasons. We’ve had plenty of cinematic camera hypers for a while, and TvC has plenty, though often go unused.
But really, I agree with Squirrel even though I think level 3s are already long enough. They have a use (more than one at that) and serve their purpose well. In MvC3 most cinematic hypers seem short enough that they don’t slow down the pace too much. Doom’s level 3 is pretty fast, along with Maggy’s and a few others when looking at the timer.
Sure anyone can do it, but so what? It can be humiliating as getting trolled by Juicebox Abel when he’s not even trying to troll; another purpose for a level 3.
I dunno. I just find it nice to have even though there are better options. I enjoy the breathing time when I need it.
The better man still prevails through skill anyways.
EDIT: And considering how fast you recover health, it’s more of an insult than injury imo.
Shuma was interesting in MVC2? Is there something I don’t know here?
Chaos Dimension?
WASTE OF FLESH?
Shuma was interesting, just terribad.
He got kicked in the mystic balls really hard when it came to MvC2. I bet they’ll work to make him better… Especially since he isn’t free.
Yeah I love the character, but he couldn’t do shit. Hopefully it’ll be different this time.
It’s not that I say or assume he’s better.:clown: I just hope and pray hes more ridiculous than before.
How in the hell exactly does his AD look WORSE? That thing took pretty long to get him moving. Now it looks near instant. Just seems to go a shorter distance. Profitable trade. <_<
windagio do u play marvel? srs querstion
n what do u guys think of zeros elec dive kick thing
Off and on. Goes thru phases, y’know? Why ya ask?
Edit: forgot to nike the phone thing.
