This is a trailer for a Korean MMO featuring Mega Man and Mega Man X series.
Don’t get your hopes up for it. You’re going to need a knowledge of the Korean Language and a Korean Social Security Number. The second one is kinda a dealbreaker.
damn thats a shame it actually looked interesting.
Was that… was that Flame Hyenard?
BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND! BURN BURN! BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND!
So many bad memories.
That looked pretty awesome. I have no idea what the gameplay is like, but we need some more Megaman X related games.
I know that it is the same voice actor. I just meant from a battle point of view Zero talks just how Ichigo does.
i thought i saw the boss from megaman zero 2
Yeah, that scorpion boss was indeed from MMZ2, and I think I saw a couple other MMZ-looking designs. There’s also gameplay videos:

More on-topic, Zero’s and She-Hulk’s themes have been added to the MvC3 page:
Only thing good about this thread are the tags.
Apparently his level 3 is (according to Zero - MMKB, the Mega Man Knowledge Base - Mega Man 10, Mega Man X, characters, and more) Shoryudan Reppuujin (which means Rising Dragon’s Finishing Gale Blade).
Although it still sounds like (to me anyways) he’s sayings something else.
A lot of the lv3’s we’ve seen so far have been pretty dull compared to TvC’s lv3’s. It’s like Capcom purposefully tried to shorten the animations as much as they could so they wouldn’t have too many old school fans whining about animu cutscenes. A lot of the lv3’s even look like TvC lv1’s.
Personally I’m pretty disappointed by this. If I’m going to blow 3 bars on a finisher I at least want it to look epic and have a long enough animation to really rub it in. A lot of the level threes so far (and not specifically Zero’s) are kind of…watered down. Not what I’d expect from a game that’s supposed to be crazier and flashier than anything else out there. Isn’t that a bit of a contradiction?
I don’t see the issue with time running out through lv3’s either. That could be part of the strategy - not only does it do a lot of damage, it also buys you some time to run the clock. And if you were at a disadvantage with 10 seconds left to turn the match around, then you should have used a lv1 super instead of comitting to a lv3 hyper you -know- will take a lot of time to finish.
I’m actually grateful for short and sweet level 3’s. Fed up of how badly SF4 style ultra animations fracture the pace of the game.
Well I was always under the impression that once you land a lv 3, the game’s pace changes because something awesome just happened. It’s supposed to be a break in the action so that you can look across your controller and smirk at your opponent and nod.
I know it’s the cool thing for most competitive players to say how they dislike long and excessive lv3 animations, but it’s certainly something that pleases spectators. Not only that, but it shows a certain creativity and tlc being put into the design and animation, which is always nice to see.
There are a few lv3’s I really like in MvC3 so far, but a good majority of them just look half assed and uncreative compared to what I’m used to from TvC.
Then again, I’m not very traditional when it comes to fighting games. I’ve never been particularly bothered by the hypers in street fighter 4 or understood why people complain about them, since I’ve always found Street Fighter a bit on the dull side (not that SF4 matches can’t be exciting, but compared to something like Blazblue, Melty or MvC2/3 it’s much more subdued in terms of pacing and aesthetic.)
I hate cinematic shit personally, like… there’ some alright ones that are fast and cool looking like Cammy’s Ultras in SSf4, or Bison’s Psycho Abortion, short, sweet and right to the point, but look at Ibuki’s ultras or Gief’s Siberian Blizzard, Holy Shit those are some retardely long ultras
You dont need long useless Cutscenes to make the lvl 3’s look “good”, they just need to make them look devastating in one way or another (super flashy, sound effects, damage, speed etc), like personally i like Zero’s, it short, sweet, painful and the awesome start-up makes up animation for it not having an un-needed ultra-esque animation
I don’t get where you’re saying that most of the level 3 hypers AREN’T long and cinematic in style. Just off the top of my head, Iron Man’s, Skrull’s, Doom’s, Trish’s, Dormammu’s, Magneto’s, Amaterasu’s, and She Hulk’s are all fairly long and fairly cinematic. That’s a pretty good number of the level 3 hypers, considering not every character has one.
Yeah, but the characters that used to have cinematic lvl 3’s don’t, or they aren’t as cool looking. As great as Shoryudan looks, Dark Hold was epic. MvC3 Ryu’s Shin Sho pales in comparison to TvC Ryu. After TvC’s Darkness Illusion, MvC3’s looks boring.
