Streetfighter 2 on the SNES, so awesome. I canā€™t remember if I played Genesis Mortal Kombat before or after that, but screw that, since I only played it at a friends place.
And then I got a NeoGeoCD used with a bunch of games. Hooray!!.. for loading timesā€¦

SF2: WW on Snes. That was the reason to get an Snes at the time. Everyone played that game, even had winner keeps it, team setup and everything.

Mortal Kombat II was the next game, but people only liked it because of the gore and facilities. A lot of my friendā€™s parents didnā€™t like their kids owning that game.

Street fighter 2 for the SNES was my very first game. I remember going to my cousinā€™s house and playing them, sure we came to see our grandpa but we all knew street fighter would determine who was the best.

Either Mortal Kombat 2, Street Fighter 2 HF, or KoF95. Not too sure which, I played them all when I was about 4 or 5.

Champ Edition probably, I remember looking at the dp motion and thinking for some reason it was impossible when I was little.

My first fighting game ever? Street Fighter II: the World Warrior, for the SNES. I got good enough over the years to beat my friends, but I didnā€™t compete at anything until CvS2.

Double Dragon IIā€™s Vs. Mode for NES. My sister and I used to play that shit for hours.

After that it was SFII: WW in the laundromat my father always went to. He was cool with the guy that run the place so he would give me free quarters sometimes. MR. LEE! Lol.
