3rd Strike and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
If 3S and MvC2 got redrawn with HD models and rebalanced I would love it. But…in order to make the games profitable they’d need to be on consoles AND in the arcade.

I always thought Street Fighter 3 could have used one more rebalancing
but I don’t think the sprites need to be redone as they’re already pretty much the most fluid ones out
just put 3s on xbla with the same hd remix netcode as well as other games like garou
A2 is the one I see with the most potential to become a much better game if remixed.
Birdie’s grab has gief range. I actually have alot of stuff thought out for a A2 remix.
Mainly for the rebalancing, then there’s the better visuals at 720p or 1080p.
Not to mention that as good as SFIII looks its still super pixelated. A smoother look for the game would be sweet but really not very important. I’d rather have a 4th version of SFIII with asome GOOD balance decisions made. 3rd Strike has some of the most hair brained nerfs from SI to 3S you just can’t help wondering what the fuck they where thinking.

Surprisingly I agree with most people, the easier answer is “no more remixes”. Instead, BRAND NEW seem more enticing overall, However I have to admit that there is a couple of those series that I would love to see revived in the form of a remix, primarily because they are good games and haven’t seen any kind of major tournament scene for a long time and so anHD remix of one or the other of those two reigniting passion for them on a tournament level is too delicious to pass up. Im talking about Darkstalkers and Alpha. Both A2 and A3 can be remixed and it would provide an opportunity to bring those games back…let’s not forget that amongst other things, the fact that the community couldn’t agree on which version of Alpha 3 to play (and understandably so) was part of the reason for it’s downfall, so if there even was an option to remix that game that would be pretty interesting given that some form of the game would have a definitive version, even if it was a rebalanced one. On the other hand, obviously A2 would be interesting as well because it’s almost universally agreed upon that it’s the second best Street Fighter game and yet there’s room for some rebalancing in there too!(Monitored by the right people of course).
Hunter and Savior sound even more interesting as possible choices for a remix, given how that series has been totally forgotten as far as being a major tournament game is concerned, and that’s a shame given how likeable it’s characters and systems were (it’s true a lot of the early system mechanics in DS live on today in the vs. games, but there’s still a world of difference between those two series, and Darkstalkers just has too much personality to be left without a place in a potential modern lineup of tournament fighters).
I would also speculate that the line of “HD Remixes” isn’t going to go away yet, we already got two, and I’m sure that they will find a few more classic gems to remix, the question is which games will they be and will they even be fighting games. If they do go with remixing more of their fighters, the possibilities are endless, but I do have to say that remixing Hunter, Savior, A2 or A3 would all be too interesting to pass up. I wouldn’t mind A4 or Darkstalkers 4 tho, and those would eassily be remixes of sorts all in themselves.
I guess I could post all my thoughts on a A2 remix, just to see general opinion.
I would be interested in reading it as I said and I get the feeling people will enjoy having some ideas tossed around for that particular game.
Missing the obvious WW/CE/HF release with proper netcode. Or Anniversary, or a full CPS1/CPS2 collection release, or whatever. The sprites are done already.
