I’d love to see an HD 3s or Alpha 3. Either one would make my day.

I’d prefer seeing Vampire Savior, I mean, given how long it took to get ST’s remake out, 3S and Alpha 3 would take forever. At least with a remade Darkstalkers game, it will SEEM fresher even if it takes another 2 years.

Fuck that, the Alpha sprites already look fucking GOOD. Lets watch those motherfuckers make ANOTHER abomination out of something aestheticly pleasing. If anything just use the EXACT ORIGINAL ART and make it compatible (crystal clear and not pixelated) in 1080p.

Maybe Darkstalkers could be redrawn, conisering that SNK’s Demitri looks more badassed than Capcom’s(which isnt bad itsself).

Alpha 2 is already balanced. Game needs absolutely nothing. Nor did Real ST.

Again, DS maybe could use some freshness added, since its been so long since a DS game, it could be okay, as long as some *** like Sirlin doesnt get the bright idea to change the tiers just because so-and-so is too good.

But overall;

If it takes an HD Remix version of a game to make you interested in it then you should get the fuck out and stop wasting people’s time. I can only wait until these newbs drop STR because they still suck, and they take it with them.

A2 is already pretty balanced

needs a couple more tweaks:

  • tone damage for some silly CCs & startup stun

  • ACs use 1/2 meter bar like in SFZ2A or tone ACs damage

  • ACs can’t be the killing blow

  • improve Birdie’s SPD with Gief-like range

  • give air Dankuu Kyaku to Dan like in A3 (so he can’t be zoned so easily by fireballs or poked from a distance by Sim)

  • maybe decrease some priorities for Chun

=> awesomest game

STHD was a great idea, but id hate to see the train of remix’d game if they kept doing it

kinda like when one company thinks its alright to make a compliation of something… then 3 months later theres like 15 fuckin compliation packs of games we all already have lol (looks at kof orochi saga ><)

as much as i’d like an HD version of some games (personally alpha 3 and 3rd strike), i’d have to settle for a rebalanced version only.

The amount of work put into redrawing all the art for any of the alpha games and especially 3rd strike would be massive. SF2HD hit many stumbles on the way, i doubt they’d want to repeat that process unless they were SURE the sales would match or at least come close to SF2 numbers. (Admitttedly, they could plan ahead for any future versions with better care and preparation than they did for SF2, but not sure how much that would benefit.)

Solely rebalancing those games would be much easier and time saving.

Only problem is…I believe no new art = less likely average casual gamer/returning sf2 fans/etc will be likely to buy it… :\
