You know, for some odd reason I’ve tried to change mains a few times…I can’t…i just can’t leave M. Bison! haha…idk why but i always come back after about two weeks at most (ive tried: vega, sagat, cammy, guile, balrog, fei long, seth, dudley, akuma, ken, and vega again). I mained bison because he was cool looking and I thought pyscho crusher was the best move in fighting game history (yes, sf4 is my first fighting game and i played with a friend and spammed this move and won every time. haha). Simple. Way back in the SF2 days (when I was a young, young boy) I somehow just loved Bison, and the way he looked, compared to the other ninjas and Chun (Vega was pretty god damn awesome tho). Then about 15-17 years later when I picked up SF4, there he was, my old friend Bison looking like his old self. 
So it wasn’t really a choice, it was a mix of updated graphics plus nostalgia. Still main him today

Scissor kicks and devil reverses feel safe for me. I in general feel safe when playing with him. As long as as your holding back and down you’re crouching and have at least have two relatively safe options, one of which is totally safe on block. Also mind games with alternating headstomp and devil reverse. : D
I used to love the psycho crusher, but I honestly can’t find much use for it other than punishing others mistakes from far away or if I have an EX to go throw their fireball.
I used to play as Sagat(Still kinda do) and went up against this B+ Bison who laid out some of the sickest looking combos and that sold me on the character. Plus he’s pretty badass as a character which was a bonus.

well its the greazy, bad boy, rythmic stance. the posh upper class threats and insults. add to that the comic book physique, and extravagant uniform. the arms folded, head stomp animation from way back when, and the colgate smile and hey… its a no brainer my bison brother.

I use everyone from shadaloo except sagat. I’m just into villains from movies/games/tv so it’s only right I used him. Also I used him in marvel 2 and cvs1 and 2

Because his dash and corner pressure feel so similar to 3s ken imo. Hes the only character that feels like him at all in sf4
I’ve mained him in every game he ever appeared since he was first made selectable almost 20 years ago - regardless of his tier. I don’t remember why though, I have a thing for villains I guess and he’s THE motherfucking villain.

You guys are going to love my story. When SF4 arcade first came out in Chinatown fair I went a few times with a couple of friends to check it out. Well my first time It was my turn to play I went against Justin Wong. So he picks the Dictator and I since i used to play Ryu in 3s I picked him. Dude completely destroyed me with Bison pressure game. I was stunned and amazed at Bison overall character gameplay design. After that I was like thats my character! lol
I picked him because I could relate to his character and story. Also, he was the only character in the game that matched my play style at the moment of choosing him.
