What is the purpose of bath robes?

Ugghhh…couldn’t help but think of this:

Zapp: “Oh…its REAL velour”

to robe yourself after bathing?

The brown man’s response to this thread?

A bath robe isn’t the same as a dressing gown, you plebs.

If it doesn’t help me survive in the woods with nothing but a handful of rudimentary tools and my wits, it is useless to me.

One of my followers on Tumblr had a roommate who’d stroll around naked in their dorm as if he was at home. I couldn’t be down with that. :shake:

This is about as relevant as asking “What is the purpose of clothes”

I would start screaming RAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE as loud as possible, just after I punched him into a coma

I guess it’s because some men have that mentality when because both of you have a penis, it’s cool. Jackasses. :bluu:

You mean to tell me its not cool to have my dick flopping around in the wind in the presence of another man?

Beguiled. When it comes to you, there’s a very special feature of bathrobes you may want to take advantage of. You see, usually they come with some type of belt for closing the robe. One pro-tip involves you tying one end of the belt around your neck, the other end from your balcony or any surface where your feet will be off the ground, and hanging yourself.

For you, posting this thread about bath robes was the most important day of your life… but for me, it was Tuesday

It’s not cool in the presence of most people, male or female.

Since when?

Well the part about laziness makes sense, I guess. I suppose its quicker to throw on a bathrobe than a shirt, boxers, and socks when getting out of bed. But that is assuming that you wear it both to and from the bathroom. And that’s where I get tripped up. Why would you wear the same bathrobe afterwards as when you were grimy and sweaty?

Bathrobes don’t get dirty.
They are made out of the same stuff as socks and sweaters.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

Outdoor hot tubs. Canadian winter. Thank you, bathrobe!

Some people like to air-dry after taking a shower, it can be quite relaxing. Bathrobes let them lounge around while wet. They’re comfortable and easy to slide on or off and let you walk into the kitchen and other places without having your dong flapping around offending everyone in eyeshot.

Simple concept, isn’t it?
