People who blame the game or their controller for their faults, ie: “I fucking swear I was blocking, the controller isn’t working right, I BLOCKED!” when you blatantly saw them mashing jab/whatever and heard the button bashing.
-People who skip the intro during AH3/BB matches when it is obviously lagging (especially lag abusing Kira/Fiona players).
-Rage quitters/avoiders.
-Hate mail. It’s usually from someone that has just lost and it is completely unnecessary.
-MVC3 training stage.
-d3v’s jokes.
Seriously. And yes, I play a lot of people in real life.
When I tell someone “GG”, that means I had a fun time fighting against them cause they really engaging match or I learned some new stuff, whether I lost or won. Sending someone GG after double perfecting them just feels kind of snide.
That’s just me though, just one thing that irks me a bit.
Also let me add a few more.
Fanboys & dickriders grind my gears too
Not enough girl gamers. I would love to see a girl win evo. Stop babying your daughters with barbie dolls and ovens. Get them a stick and a game!!!
My daughter is 3 and has her own fightstick! She tries to play Juri! LOL Evo here we come!
The constant complaints of "All the games people play suck and are imbalanced, I can’t wait for [game not yet released] to come out so I stop losing to [insert scrubquote here].
i’m actually excited for this. lol
People who hate it when the World Warrior cast get all of the spotlight in Street Fighter games despite how those are the characters that pop culture associates with Capcom fighting games.
Characters that get nerfed for no reason. Capcom’s post-SFIV approach to fighting games.
[SFxT] [Mashing; Random Ultra]
[SSF4:AE 2012] [Twins; Feilong]
[KOFXIII] [Idiots who play sf and marvel all day.]
[UMVC3] [X-factor; Phoenix, Wesker, Lariat, Gunstaff Fire, Zero, Dante, Mags, Dive kick, Beserker Slash, Dark Phoenix, Tatsu, DHC glitch, Drones, a combination of any of the following.]
People that hate the existence of the SF4 series DESPITE it reviving fighting games.
People that hate '09ers. Yes I am one.
loosing online
people that believe that sf4 revived the fighting game genre
No it didn’t. Plenty of fighters were still being released in the period Capcom stop producing fighters. We had stuff like Guilty Gear, KoF, Samurai Shodown, Melty Blood, Rumble Fish, Arcana Heart, Tekken, Soul Calibur, and a few others I’m forgetting was holding it down in their absence. All it revived were capcom fans who only play capcom games.
People complain about “icons” being prioritized over gameplay they’d like to play/see more of? SHOCKING
This is just what I’m getting from the SFxT discussions. In a game that’s supposed to be a crossover between the most iconic characters of each franchise, it’s not exactly rocket science.
I mean, people lamenting over the possibility of Balrog and Vega being in a Street Fighter crossover? Really?
Of course I might be forgetting a bigger thing that grinds my gears: People forgetting that most every character in a game worth its salt has some kind of worth and a scene of their own.
you are forgetting that its also the oportunity to bring back other characters that werent present on sf4, capcom has a really good number of chars that could add a lot to the gameplay besides the usual suspects, do you really belive that every game needs to have the same chars over and over?
