- Folks who try to give advice and have no idea what they’re talking about, but oblivious to this fact.
- Stream monsters. 12-year-old chat is unbearable.
- Reversal window in SF4
- Unlockable characters. Costumes and colours are fine. Don’t prevent me from playing characters I wanted to play out of the box.
- The fact that I will get bodied in Tekken forever and ever because I never set aside time to learn.
- FGC called e-sports. “How do I get sponsoredz?”
- Why Capcom hasn’t bought Arika characters or made EX2 Plus HD.
- How we all got trolled by the Bloody Roar announcement.
If this were SF5 or SFA4, no, but this is SFxT.
Besides, bringing back old peeps was what made Tekken 5 so popular in comparison to Tekken 4.
But you misunderstand me. I’d be happy if I saw Alex or Necro or Q or whoever again, but at the same time I think it’s not called for if someone like Boxer or Claw get in and people start moaning.
People who skip intros and win animations.
Especially rival/cutscene/special intros.
yes, and some people care less about whether the crossover has iconic characters and more of whether it brings characters who have underrepresented movesets in. I dont see why you are still shocked that some people value gameplay over iconicness.
Yes, every character has some value and has people who like them for the same reasons everyone else likes their particular favorites. That’s a good thing to remember. But characters are not necessarily equal. There are character designs that are
1)Overrepresented in the genre/series
2)Bad/Mediocre/whatever in terms of gameplay
3)Not fit for a particular game in terms of gameplay
4)Underrepresented in the genre/series
Not everything is equal, its not just “OH THROW IN THE ICONIC ONES BECAUSE THEYRE ICONIC AND NOTHING ELSE MATTERS”.
of course, some people just want their specific waifus and meatlords in, and some people cant stand actually playing a different character, lol
-
People that act like “low tier” users are up to some devious scheme all the time. I’m not trolling and I’m not looking for an excuse if I lose, I actually like Necro. I know you don’t like your character.
-
People that pick overused characters they don’t really like, yet pretend they go back like babies and pacifiers. “Oh nah, I’ve always liked ______”
-
Adult Swim generation of kids acting like they’re part of some underground society because they watched Cowboy Bebop.
- Lag in online fighters. Wishes for better internet infrastructure in the U.S.A.
- Those who like to play with laggy connections and want that win at all costs, trying to get that e-peen as long as possible.
Cowboy Bebop is da shit, for the record.
-Going for 1 frame links online in intense situations and dropping them
-The great possibility that Deejay wont get the tools he REALLY needs for 2012
-The fact that I’ve put an S-load of hard work into learning DeeJay…only to find out he ain all that
-The Fact that Deejay is still gonna smile despite the possibility of being one of the worse characters in 2012.
-Bloody Roar being a massive troll anouncement
Aw snap!!! What do we call a female who’s beasting at a game? A beastess? We ain’t got long to find out now.
-Starhammer-
these three deserve to be seen again. I’m particularly mad about number 8.
-Starhammer-
Zero doing anything in MVC3.
Level 3 XF Felicia.
Invincible Berserker Slash.
Can’t play Strange yet.
3S is the best.
Beast mode. Bloody Roar. Uriko. Nao.
Oh wait.
People who rage in real and then get physical. I know a guy who complains about shit when it isn’t going his way in a match and then throws a fit. He bit through, yes THROUGH a controller and then proceeded to throw himself into a wall. His back was against a wall and he threw himself backwards shaking the whole room and then broke a tv remote and he’s went through more desk chairs than the Empire has went through clone troopers. Don’t break your shit cuz you are terrible, dont make excuses, just get better or accept your shittieness and move on. Alot less stress and money saved.
…are you saying people who think 3s is the best bother you, or were you just punctuating your post with that?
That person sounds like he has more issues than just fighting games, tbh.
*Daigo Nut Swingers who wont let go. And tighting there Grip and protect him whenever he loses. Get off dat Mans genitals.
*Online Fighting Gaming period. ( Im sorry but being able to nail combos online just 95% of the time and adjusting to lag is a skill its self.)
*Street Fighter 4 - One Frame Links Vs. Reversal Mashing
*Easy 50/50 Characters - Does not matter if a character takes great excution or not a 50/50 character is a 50/50 character.
^^^Same goes for Easy Auto Pilot characters^^^ ( Yea Im talking to you Ibuki & Vipers. Come At Me Bitches.):nunchuck:
*People that use the " Well “X” character does not win any Major’s acuse.
- People who dont respect there gaming roots as someone said before. That shit is rude, you can hate it but you must resepct it.
I think you misunderstand me man, because my real pet peeve comes from people who moan about certain characters being in over others. I’m sure you were around when MVC3 characters were being revealed and there was a lot of hate about Megaman or Gene or Jin or Gambit not being in but guys like MODOK and X-23 and Taskmaster were. Never mind that Capcom had put a lot of effort into making those guys interesting characters in their own right, they weren’t the characters from MVC2 so eff them! It’s like that with the World Warrior people getting in lately, just when the popularity tables turned. Even when Capcom gives guys like Boxer new tricks like a dashing comboable overhead, or give Claw new EX moves that he’s never had before with properties that’s never been had (like striking the opponents on the way up).
My main pet peeve is people targeting specific characters for the wrong reasons or out of spite that someone else didn’t make it in. The SF2 people bit was just an example I pulled out of my hat due to the recent relevance with SFxT (but eff Blanka, though: that guy gave me a million headaches in IV and I imagine he’d give me a million more if he’s in SFxT with the juggle physics).
People who seem to spend more time on the internet complaining about games they don’t like than playing games they do.
I was just saying 3S was the best cuz I couldn’t think of anything that grinded my gears about the only other fighter I’m regularly playing ATM.
When people want me to play a game that doesn’t appeal to me aesthetically. Idc how good the game is I gotta like what im looking at
People bitching that a game isn’t finished.
Speaking of which, dude, did you ever get into 3rd Strike?
