Ya my Wolve is always on point so he’s never an assist char. However i’m the kinda guy that saves his chars so when Wolve gets beat up I switch into my next one. So i’m just trying to see if I can get some decent assist out fo him while he’s not in battle.
Well my other 2 chars are Dante (Jam Session) and Sentinel (Drones) so there’s really no reason to use wolvie assist lol.
I use Barrage, when I do assist with Wolvie because it is fast and can put ppl in block/hit stun for the longest amount of time, of his 3 assist. Of his 3 assist it is the only one that works with Weskers Samurai Edge to continue combos.
The issue is that its hit box isn’t very tall and he is vunerable to a lot of attacks.
There’s no crossup unless your point character switches sides. Wolvie might go behind them, but they haven’t got to switch their block or anything.
I think berzerker barrage is best. Guess tornado might be ok if you need an AA assist.

Oh I see. So say I call the assist then jump over them, then it may hit on the other side, do I have that right?
yeah, Barrage is the one I use the most
It’s always the point character that needs to be blocked, which side the assist is on doesn’t matter. So, yea, if you jump over them, they have to switch their block.
I’ve never been able to follow up a barrage with a launcher. What are you doing to make this work? assist, otg, cr :l::h::s:?

I do Weskers bnb launch, hardknock down, dash +assist, df H, cancel L teleport, S ^ etc.
you can use the H teleport to, I do it the same way I use storms whirlwind assist
With wesker I would call beserk barrage and teleport while wolv is on wesker it makes it tricky as hell to see teleport other than that I don’t think any of his assist r useful. Maybe u could use them to make unsafe blockstrings safe but I haven’t really tried
Been using Wolvie’s drill claw exclusively. The typical teams he’s point char do not possess any form of anti-air so it’s valuable often when using the likes of deadpool/taskmaster/mags for when someone is on the dire offensive, which often leads into sit-back hypers.

I personally like to use Berserker Slash just because it’s safer at the right range and, every once in a blue moon, will get behind a random hyper and knock them out of it which makes me giggle.
Seriously though Wolverine assists blow.
I like berserker slash as well…but rarely use wolverine for assists. Sentinel ftw.
I run Dormammu on anchor - After :s: -> sJ. :h::s: in the corner, you can OTG with :df::h: and call Beserker Barrage to extend for a relaunch. Really situational, but nice when it happens.

Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad offline but I’m seriously having a hard time dealing with Dive Kick/ Drill Claw>Dive Kick spam. Seriously. It’s as if he can just SJ Dive Kick all day without any care in the world. Push block seems to just result in more dive kick. You Wolvie players got any info for me that may help me against this BS?
