So far I didn’t experience any loss of BP when an opponent ragequits, but some players say otherwise so there’s still a possibility. I only lose points when there is an accidental (or not) disconnection and GFWL thinks that I am the one who disconnected.

It can happen. It’s happened to me before. I mentioned it in one of my episodes of ‘The Road To B Rank’ on my channel. I think it’s episode 2 about 9 minutes in where I fight a Heihachi/Ken team and the game disconnected stating a communication error had occurred and I lost around 100 BP as a result :(.
I played this guy who only knew how to do cammy’s dp, so he kept doing it over and over. I played Dhalsim and Hugo, and I figured this was a good chance for me to try out my 100% reset combo. So I basically just built meter (Needs 3 meter) and took his cammy down to 90% health so he would tag in Dhalsim (which I think he just picked because he saw me use sim against him in our previous match). So everything happened according to plan, and I proceeded to do 100% on his Dhalsim when he came in. This is what I got from him:
After his second message, I responded with something like: “I just did a 100% reset combo on you and the dp spamming cammy is calling me terrible! You just made my day!” After his third message, I went out for a bit:P
You deserve every bit of hatemail you get tbh.
It’s really weird but the people who insult my combos in ragemail usually are the same people whose biggest combo during the match was all three-four hits of wakeup EX SRK. ALL U DO IS THE SAME HUGO COMBO FOR HALF MY LIFE U FAG. People don’t understand having a go-to combo for punishes? Also…it does half your life like you said. Why WOULDN’T I do that combo? Your boost combo into nothing didn’t do comparable damage, I’m sorry.
My favourite though happened last week on my friend’s account.
I had three bars and anti-aired a jump in with Bryan’s EX fisherman. Opponent didn’t have much life left so I just hit the ground bounce with cr. HP xx Super just for the easy kill confirm. He quits the match during the animation. My friend sent him “nice rage quit” because he’d been taunting after like every other knockdown and okay, yeah, we were kind of feeling ourselves. He sent back that he didn’t have time to watch unoptimized combos and we should challenge him again when we learn to play without wasting all our meter.
Yeah it’s not the best use of 3 bars but IT WAS GOING TO KILL. That’s why I did it. Unoptimized combos, geez. The best string he put together in the match was llmh launch SHORYUKEN. We tried to find him again but couldn’t get him. I hate the matchmaking in this game.

Sometimes it will happen depending on how the disconnect occurs, happened to me in AE sometimes as well. I don’t know all the logistics and such behind it though - just hate when it happens. :-\
Rage quitting can be hilarious but also gets stupid annoying and irritating after a while. So whatever. I hate finishing people up with cross arts…its a waste of precious time to have to look at a pointless cinematic (since you know you are gonna kill him). Its my personal style and prevents me for getting dashboarded by scrubs.
Winning is far more important than styling on some rage quitting scrub. Take that W before he makes that Q happen.

Alright so I got this little gem right here from a user named “Vengeance135” from PSN.
Apparently, he thinks highly of himself because he has like 20000 BP or some shit. Anyways, he fought me on his troll account which is “MyLittlePony246” he proceeded to taunt me in anger as I zoned out his Julia x Christie team with my Ryu x Raven team. I sent him a message saying……Don’t salty taunt me plz. Then we went back and forth until I told him to PLAY TO WIN and shut up. Then he says this hilarious bit (reminds me of my old saltier self)

Vengeance135 would leave the lobby every time I joined. I can hear him over his mic complaining about my play style. Even If I don’t win, he still whines.

How can you boost on SFxT? If you are a booster on this game its actually sadder than AE. Since from my understanding it would take 10 times more effort to do so. Effort you could do spending your time winning.
